🔮 THE 2026 VISION: Shaping the Future of Atlas High Performance (+ We need your input)
Hey guys, I’ve just uploaded a detailed breakdown (video below👆) of where Atlas High Performance is heading in 2026. I’ve put everything on paper - from schedule changes to new coaching faces - and now I want your feedback. The goal is to keep improving the service, systemise your results, and make this the best training environment possible. 👇 HERE ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS: 1. 🎮 Gamifying the Community (New Rewards) We are turning this group into an interactive hub, not just a place to lurk. - Leaderboards: We now have 7-day and 30-day leaderboards. - Prizes: Top contributors on the 30-day board will earn rewards (gifts/discounts). - Level Up: Engaging (liking/commenting) earns you points to "Level Up" and unlock free courses (like Nutrition Basics & Training Foundations). - Note: Premium content will be locked for active members only. 2. 🗓️ Schedule & Christmas Hours - Christmas: We usually close for 2 weeks. This year, we are looking at an "unofficial" close where we will open for specific short windows to keep you moving. - 2026 Gym Hours: Moving toward structured training blocks (Morning, Lunch, Evening) to improve coaching quality, programming and cleanliness. 3. 🚀 Service Upgrades (2026) - Youth Athletes: Moving to a subscription model (1-2 PT sessions + Unlimited access to Group Development sessions). - Adults: Splitting "General Fitness" vs. "High Performance" tracks so everyone gets exactly what they need. - Booking System: Moving toward booking times rather than specific coaches. This ensures you never miss a session if a coach is away, and every coach knows your program inside out. - Testing: Introducing regular "Testing Days" (using VBT sensors) to track progress safely without needing 1-Rep Maxes every time. 4. 🍎 Nutrition & Sport Science - We are partnering with a Registered Associate Nutritionist for monthly workshops and specific referral support. - New Team Members: Shout out to Eoghan, Eve (Sports Science/Clare Ladies), and Gianni (Endurance/Rowing Specialist) joining the roster.

☕️ COMMUNITY UPDATE: New Coaches, Christmas Plans & Personal News (Live @ 4:30 PM)
Hey guys, I’m jumping on for a quick "Coffee Chat" this afternoon at 4:30 PM. It’s been a busy few weeks at Atlas, and I want to take 15–20 minutes to bring everyone up to speed on some exciting changes happening in the gym between now and the New Year. 👇 What I’ll cover: - 👥 New Faces: An official introduction to the new coaching structure and how Eoghan and Eve fit into the team. - 🎄 Christmas Schedule: The plan of action for training blocks leading into the break. - 👶 Personal Update: Some of you already know, but we are expecting a new arrival in February! I’ll be chatting about how my role on the gym floor will be shifting slightly over the next few months to prepare for that. - ❓ Q&A: Open floor for any questions you have about training or the gym. Can't make it? No stress. I am recording this one and will post the replay here afterwards so you don't miss the updates. If you are free, grab a coffee and jump on the link below at 4:30 PM. You will find it in the calendar section.

Samples Arrived // Call in For Sizing
Hey guys, As mentioned, our samples arrived for the Atlas High Performance branded GRG gear. It's the beanie, training jersey and the fleece lined quarter zip we are looking at getting done this time around. I'll need to place and order before end of day on Thursday to ensure delivery for 16th December. Here are the prices for each: - Training Jersey: €27 - Quarter Zip: €36 - Beanie: €15 (unfortunately we don't have one for sizing, but they are one size) The sizes we have available for sizing are: - Training jersey = S - XL - Quarter Zip = S - XXL Make sure you get in and try them on. It's just for sizing and checking material quality. The colours on our versions obviously won't be the same. I have them hanging up behind the desk so if you are interested, make sure you check them out properly.

👕 New Atlas Merch - Full Shop Coming Soon!
Hey guys, Exciting news! We are in the process of putting together a full shop of Atlas High Performance-branded training and casual clothing for members. We've done small orders in the past, but this has been a long time coming. The plan is to have a proper range of high-quality gear available to order. I'll be posting mock-ups of the designs in here soon and would love to get your opinions on them. Please note that these aren't the final designs and this isn't the full list of options so don't be afraid to come forward with suggestions. Don't worry about sizing – I'll also be getting samples in for you all to try on before we go live. Let me know your thoughts below.

👋 Welcome! What's Your Biggest Training Struggle Right Now?
Hey everyone, and welcome to the new Atlas High Performance community! We're really excited to have you here. The goal of this group is to provide extra support, resources, and connection outside of your sessions in the gym. To kick things off and help us create the most valuable content for you, we'd love it if you could introduce yourself in the comments below by sharing the #1 thing you're struggling with the most right now. This could be anything related to: - Your training (e.g., consistency, a specific exercise, motivation) - Nutrition (e.g., meal prep, what to eat, fueling for performance) - The psychological side of sport/performance (e.g., confidence, nerves, focus) - Anything outside the gym that's impacting your progress (e.g., stress, sleep, time management) - Your answers will directly help us figure out what content, resources, and discussions to prioritise in this group, making the experience better for everyone. So, what's your biggest hurdle? Let us know below! 👇

@Stephen Walsh sounds believable 🤣 as it is a heavy time of the season for referees and home life the 2 mornings a week are doing their job so during the winter break in December to mid January I can increase the gym work and prepare for the busy few months of early 2026. Thank you for the guidance 👌
