The other day I posted about a few shoes, and yesterday I went to a couple of shops to get them (and ordered the boots online, so still waiting on them). Yesterday night I also had a friend's birthday, and what better occasion to wear those brand new brogues? Without changing anything else from my current style/clothes (I wore gray jeans + dark purple shirt), I got 2 direct – and 1 indirect with a person noticing – compliments about the shoes from the people there. That felt so good! I can't wait to redo my entire wardrobe and level up on the rest as well 🤩

Good Morning everyone, this is my first post! I have a question on what are the rules for finding a "luxury" looking watch. I put the word in quotes because I am currently on a strict budget to building my wardrobe and I am tempted to purchase one of the watches at my local Wal-Mart supercenter. I am trying to keep my watch price under $50, but I don't know what kind of watch looks worth it. Has anyone purchased a watch from Wal-Mart before?

Ralph Lauren CHAPS, tan, black houndstooth, silk wool blend. $11 total after rounding up at Goodwill. I was surprised when I put this on and realized there was no tailoring needed. I will end up paying another $15 for dry cleaning so total $26. Going out thrifting with my wife tomorrow so who knows what treasures tomorrow may bring. My wife and I are out the door in a bit for Dinner and a show for our 23 rd anniversary. Have a great night gents.
