Who is going to Strength Forum Next Week?
Being in Canada we have already had our first snow fall of the year. Looking forward to Florida and the weather but more importantly to catch up with all the great people who are going. Nothing better then catching up in person. Note: The look on my face when I see they are calling for 80+ Fahrenheit.

@Ray Tate thank you. Appreciate that.

@Ray Tate I had one. Also had a single arm hip and back. Sold them both to pick up a super geared hip and back. Also currently have a 2st hip and back along with a pendulum reverse glute ham. I've run a hip and back on my floor as a must have for close to 20 years now. Thank you for the kind comment about the Vette. Cars are a passion of mine.

If you don't ask you will never know the answer. Obviously we all know who @Pete Cerqua is. Before I started coaching with Pete I was 255 pounds. Life had kicked my butt and my weight showed it. I heard Pete talk about how losing weight had helped his business. After I decided to move forward with this business I made a decision to lose weight. Going through coaching Pete reinforced that idea. He challenged me to lose weight. A lot of weight. It is working, people are taking notice. Now the goal is to get down to 190 pounds. I had to ask Dr. Ellington Darden to measure my arms. Especially when the topic of his talk was arms. I don't know about y'all but when I got interested in lifting I wanted to grow my arms. I remember in his book "The New High Intensity Training" Darden talks about the length of the muscle determines it's potential growth. So I had to ask him about the potential of my arms. He measure them at 17 inches. He said I can add another inch to each arm. I also asked Jim Flanagan if I could come back for a workout. Asked how the workout demo guinea pigs are selected. Then volunteered myself for selection. I also wrote a little less than 14 pages of notes. I need to sit down and reread through them multiple times to digest it all. If you are on the fence about going to Strength Forum next year GO! Ask questions and be bold. And remember "People with small calves should pay more in taxes." -Alexander Hamilton

It was a pleasure to meet you Tom. I enjoyed our chat with Mike Bradley. Getting your arms taped from Ellington Darden and him saying you can put on another inch is beyond cool. I dont care for your calf t shirt but everything else was very interesting. Lol.
Billing & Payments Question
Quick question for the crew — how do you handle billing when clients travel or miss sessions? I currently use monthly recurring billing, which keeps income predictable but gets tricky when clients miss more than a week or want to “bank” sessions or reschedule a bunch at once — even though it’s technically a use-it-or-lose-it setup to hold their spot. Have you found a system that keeps income consistent, sets clear expectations and is easy to manage for you? Curious what’s worked best for you.

How would you like to be treated/billed if the situation were reversed?
🟥 Panatta Machines Feedback Comparison ?
Hey everyone 👋 I’m based in Paris, France, and recently had the chance to try Panatta machines on a larger scale. Honestly, I was really impressed — they seem to respect the biological and mechanical advantages of the muscle curve really well. And beyond that, the overall feeling was amazing… I actually felt like I was sitting in a luxury car 🚗💪 Here in Paris, I didn’t get the chance to try Imagine Strength or Med-X, so I wanted to ask: 👉 For those of you who have tried them, how do they compare to Panatta in terms of biomechanics, feel, and build quality? 👉 Any noticeable differences in muscle engagement or resistance? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences — I think it could make a great discussion for all of us who care about high-quality strength equipment!

@Lawrence Neal unfortunately I do not agree. I was looking forward to using the line because they are really marketing heavy and have some big bodybuilding names behind the brand now. They are very modern looking with great seats. It would he a very easy sell in a high end gym. However I felt most of the resistance curves were wrong and many of the movement arms were awkward at best. Many seemed to he poor copies of old hammer machines. Could I sell them to clients, absolutely. Are they better quality, biomechanics and resistance curves then MEDX? IMO no. They missed the mark. Michael
Workout frequency for optimal health benefits?
Since we know how beneficial strength training is for all types of physiological effects like glucose uptake, blood pressure improvements, cardiovascular improvements, mental wellness, etc; what would be the optimal dose and frequency to maximize all the health benefits of strength training? Obviously, for muscle hypertrophy and strength gains we need rest in-between workouts, but are we missing out on all the other, maybe even more important, benefits of strength training by limiting our sessions to once or twice a week? I’m curious if maybe training more frequently, but using a split routine might get you the health benefits from strength training without overtraining problems. How best to balance out all the benefits of strength training through increasing frequency with the need for rest and recovery and super-adaptation. Thoughts?

Hello Justin, If you are looking for best possible results, getting someone right up to the point of over training without going over will provide this. However most you work with will not be interested in making the workouts and recovery their life so it's not something to worry about. Consider this. For argument sake training 3x a week will give someone best and fastest results. For many the cost, time commitment and diet/recovery strategy would become a major part of their life. Let's say they stick this out for 60-90 days. You would have accomplished quite a bit with them. However it's probably a small moment in time for most. Now lets say you give them 1 session per week. Many more can afford this price point and even more then that, can fit it into their lifestyle. Also even with a sub par diet and recovery strategy 1 session is easily manageable to recover from for 99% of the population. Good chance if you do a great workout and a nice facility you can keep this clients for years. How much more will you get out of them over that extended period of time? My guess is most men will get to that 500lb leg press Logan mentioned!

@Lawrence Neal most can recover from 2x per week. Some do better on an upper and lower body split. I find the biggest determining factor on how well they do from going 1x time full body to 2x per week full body is getting adequate daily protein.
