This one is the touchy subject because I'm probably going to make someone unhappy with me.. but this is my opinion.. I realize that gender and sex are two different things. I grew up in a world where they were the same, but now I'm forced to realize that they are different because one refers to your biological build build and the other refers to a social construct. This being said, as far as the sexes are concerned, I believe there's only two male and female. Those that differ usually are referring as something that's very low occurring like less than 1%, where maybe they might have both organs. We're not talking about those lower percentage situations. We're talking about the majority of people now. As far as social constructs are concerned. This is where I'm probably going to ruffle a few feathers... I still believe that for the most part you're either male or female, even in social construct. But I do recognize the fact that there are people who feel that they are something other than those two things. It doesn't really affect me too much what you feel that you are. So I'm okay with that. If I see you as a male or I see you as a female. While I try to be respectful to you and your opinions of what you are, you have to pard me if I see a female and I call you a female. This is the way my mind works. Now if you want me to call you something else I may or may not be able to remember to do so. And if I do forget what you prefer to be called, you're just going to have to excuse me because I'm 61 years old and I am pretty much from a world where there was no when it comes to sex and gender so for me just for me to recognize that there is a difference is a largely for me.

@Eileen Bennett I agree with you. Referring to someone as they to me is totally contrary to everything I know about the English language. I completely agree with you and I cannot for the life of me, except someone's preferred reference. In this case. They will get what I consider normal pronouns. If they cannot accept this type of interaction, then perhaps we don't need to talk LOL
