I'm walking across every bridge in NYC. my goal since summer... Because for me..I have to get outside to feel better. Today was Kosciusko Bridge...nice pictures. Thank you for recommending .....This past Sunday was George Washington...(a bit weird) but nice pictures. ..

Keep it up!
Anxiety
I never learned how to swim. At 5 years old we're at the Catskills. I looked over for my sister and she was gone. We were at the 8 foot end of the pool, so I looked down and there she was at the bottom of the pool. I thought she was dead. i said help and a stranger pulled her out. Then on I was afraid of pools(as was she). I always regretted not learning how to swim. There's a public pool close by and after debating for months...I went in and signed up for beginner, beginner adult swim lessons. Starts tonight..I'm worried...however I've done something *scary* for me..I'm suprised I did.

Wayyy late response here but saw this while catching up on posts and good for you Erin! Facing your fears is great. And the water can be inherently nerve-racking too from that traumatic story. Keep it up though, swimming is a great skill to have and you can help others too! Holding onto the wall while practicing putting your face in the water, taking strokes, or kicking, is a great way to get comfortable. Go at your speed and comfort level!🏊‍♀️

I have taught swimming to beginners of all ages and that's usually the first step since people aren't used to blowing out air/controlling their breathing haha.

Last week I baked cakes for a customer holding an event for potential buyers of homes in a development they built. Afterwards I received the a very gratifying text message from them, “The cheesecake was a huge hit! They were so good!!! Thank you for sharing your gift and love of baking with us… please send me your invoice and I’ll get a check to you… I also have down to email you on Sunday and place my order for next week? Is that okay? The event is on Thursday?! Makes all the effort and time getting to this point worth it.
