Calendar help
Help! I'd love to see someone's weekly calendar, or at least get some tips, with how to fit it all in. I'm a full time teacher, 40 minute drive to work, make dinner every night, want to get a 30 minute workout in, and my dōTERRA business, too. Share all the tips!

Hi Vonda, my calendar is unsightly and after doing the 90 day game plan I realised that I simply have to say no a lot to things that aren’t the priority. Sometimes it feels stifling but the reality is I won’t get what I want done if I say yes to things which seem great. And if watching Netflix is how I decompress then I need to make time for it and get on the treadmill while I do it and get some steps in as I decompress. I literally have jam packed days too. I can’t exercise everyday but I can move everyday. I plan on 3 days of weight training as deliberate exercise and every other day it’s movement - walking the dog for 20 minutes at a pace where I feel breathless and the heart is pumping counts, doing the stepper while I’m folding clothes counts, and so on. The business side requires brain power and quiet so if you can - you can do like me which is find the moments that are yours and quiet either before the house wakes up or when they go to sleep or an hour in the day when you can take it. And everyday is simply not possible for me, so it’s every other day and I’m always having to reprioritize based on what’s happening. I also put everyone and the dog on a weekly meal plan. So I know what ingredients I need each week, and what the meal is. It’s not great but people are fed, the house is running, and I’m getting some progress in all aspects of life. After talking with others whose lives are all busy I realise mine isn’t so messy after all. Just find a system that gives you peace and works for you. Cheering for you. Ps here’s my scrappy calendar which I then put into Google and iCal.
Q: “What if I get off track with my Game Plan?”
“I start out strong with my calendar, but by week two, I’m off track. Then I feel behind, discouraged, and ready to quit. How do I recover without scrapping my whole plan?” A: This is one of the most common questions — and it’s also the easiest to fix once you know how to think about it. Falling off track doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re human. Shocker, I know! 🤣 Here’s what to do instead of throwing away your plan: 1️⃣ Pause, don’t panic. Look at why you got off track. Was it an emergency? Overcommitment? Lack of energy or clarity? Identify the root cause before you adjust. 2️⃣ Revisit your priorities. Go back to your top 3 focus areas. Ask, “What still matters this week?” That’s what stays on the calendar. 3️⃣ Rebuild, not restart. You don’t need to redo everything. Simply move the missed blocks into realistic future slots. 4️⃣ Celebrate recalibration. Getting back on track faster is the muscle you’re building. Every time you do it, you strengthen your self-trust. Remember: success isn’t in never missing a day — it’s in how fast you recover when you do.

Gosh you're writing about me. Today I had to sit down and revisit where my time went this month. I discovered I spent 20 hours learning over the past 2 weeks when I thought I had no time. So now that I have to meet some deadlines and ACTION, I can set aside the learning for now, and get into TAKING ACTION and not feel bad about it. Tracking has saved me from feeling like I was completing failing at my weekly goals. Now I hope to recover the rest of the month. I've also realised I need to adjust the times I set for certain tasks for the rest of the month. 🧠🤓
SLOW progress is still ENCOURAGING!
Last week, I published my first post on Facebook in 3 years. The response was overwhelming. It really shocked me that people could be shaken up so much by a post! It was a personal post. I shared a bit about the ups and downs of the past 3 years. I was not expecting what that post would do. The overwhelm stopped me from posting the rest of my weekly posts out of sheer fear. Some results: 1. Over 200 people liked or hearted 2. At my last count, 50 people commented 3. 10 people DM me with their life stories 4. 9 people booked calls 5. Got 3 coaching clients from that post I'm not sharing to gloat. I'm sharing because I am overwhelmed and exhausted but grateful. ***How did I manage the nightmare of having to respond?*** 1. I made the list of all the comments and put it into ChatGPT, gave gpt options for my real reply and had it generate 6-7 different versions, which I then copy/pasted into each comment per person and personlized it according to the memories/ relationship connection I have with each person. 2. Prioritized the reply based on the length and depth of the comment I received. 3. I let the DMs know I read and received their msg and acknowledged their vulnerability and situation. 4. I will be sending short video replies to these persons and inviting to get on a call with me over the following week. ***Takeaway*** The power of our stories can really rock others for good or for bad. What we share is powerful, even if we feel stressed/ overwhelmed/ annoyed, we have to do this social media thing. We just need to keep at it and be authentic...and have a system in place. I'm still figuring out my system, and wanted to share the feedback of being vulnerable online. The steps above are what Ally and another wonderful lady shared in last week Friday's open coaching call. I added in the GPT assistance. It works. It took me 1 hour to reply to all comments. I will take 1 hour to schedule the video replies (script with GPT, hit record, send to each person)
Powerful Hooks WIN
If you’re looking for powerful ways to create b-roll reels, consider testing your hooks just like this creator did: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DNtvBiQZCj9/?igsh=MWU4YjB6bmE4N28ybg== Here’s how to create it: 1. Capture a background clip (3-7 seconds) 2. Write a compelling hook 3. Add a TON of value in the off-screen caption Mastering your hooks is EVERYTHING. Spend 80% of your creation time on the hook itself. If you can’t stop the scroll, nothing else matters!

Spinning your wheels on your content? Here’s why!
If you know you need to post today… and nothing “good” comes to mind… that’s a good indication that you aren’t yet clear on who you want to attract on socials. That’s called your Target Market. And your TM has real problems, fears, wants and dreams that YOU are uniquely designed to help them address. Once you have this, you’ll literally never run out of content ideas. It becomes the vault that you come back to time and time again for inspiration! Need help identifying your TM so you can get clear on your content strategy? Make sure you’re going through either the Social Media Launch Course or Attraction Marketing School (for dōTERRA reps)! That’s where you’ll unlock ALL of this vital info about your target market!

Love this Ally. The TM work we did together has been so helpful. I've been batch creating and all i have to do is make minor tweeks to the posts GPT gives me. I literally spend 2 hours at most and I end up with a batch of 20 posts. Literally my dream come through. I'm sure I will get better as I continue to post on social media and reiterate what my TM really needs from me.
