2026 planning questions:
@Ally Mona I have just finished the Event Blueprint and I must just add that it was so fantastically structured and clearly communicated! Just love it! I have the following question: for doterra business building, what do you guys create the event around? Your chosen Hero product? Only one Event? The thing is that I have created a program (through another program before I joined you Ally) that basically combines: Calming nervous system to stress less, being more present, raising consciousness and sleep better - where of course doterra products are included but also meditation, sound healing and working with limiting beliefs. My plan was to include doterra in the teaching but gives it less of a focus. I am now thinking of creating a second event only on my Hero product but am aware that this is alot of work. An important issue is that I start 2026 lighter in the horse year:) but on unemployment payment and am in need of income (as fast as possible). I am gaining new clients for doterra through adds and will hopefully grow in ranks in 2026 and create a facebook community with monthly nurturing meetings also. Enough work to focus on in other words - the days fly fast and I need to focus and actually get the money rolling in step by step. I guess my question is hard to answer - and I think it is of a strategic 2026 one: Should I focus on my initial program + adds for doterra clients until I have more information on the program (success etc) or "ditch" the adds for doterra clients which is timely and costly as we send out 8 small testers to each client and I have about 1-3 new clients pr month and switch to doing 2 events. One for the program and one for doterra? OOPS, long post, sorry. And appreciate any expert thoughts here as I am overimpressed on what you manage to produce:) Happy to hear if you have a product that can help me get up and running fast!:)

Let me answer this here because we had tech difficulties on the call. For your event... you need to create it around specific problems that your target market has and then you position the product offer as the easy button to that problem (with the value stack that tips the value to cost ratio in your favor and makes it a no-brainer purchase). So for example, let's say your TM is menopausal women who struggle with weight gain, sleep and brain fog. First you can teach them WHY that happens in menopause (so they feel heard and normal), then teach lifestyle things they can do to combat the three (ie, 100g protein a day, sleep hygiene tips, and brain fog tips -- all things that will help them whether they buy from you or not), and then talk about your favorite products that have helped you (aka your offer), and then present that value stack. This way, they were educated, have some free things they can try (increases your influence), AND have access to the products at the best prices, with a value stack that outweighs the cost. If the ads are working... keep them. If it's too much, or not financially reasonable, ditch them. Or you can change that offer so it's not sending samples. Lots of options there. Hope that helps!

@Alexia Michelle Hatjoullis yes one event that you work to improve over time. I would absolutely sell the products on the call and offer a direct link to buy and a 20 min 1:1 calls in case people have questions before they buy.

Why reels are so important
Here’s a month over month comparison that shows just how radically important reels are to your social media growth strategy. Mid Oct to mid Nov ➡️ very little focus on reels Mid Nov to mid Dec ➡️ DAILY focus on reels What’s important to pay attention to? 1️⃣ Views: 36k vs 63k 2️⃣ Accounts Reached: 5.9k vs 21.5K 3️⃣ % of Non-Followers: 21% vs 52% WHY does this matter? Because you need reach into non-follower accounts to grow YOUR followers. My goal? 75% non-follower reach in the new year. That means more reels. More trending content in MY voice, telling my story. Are these numbers compelling enough for you to double down on reels, too? 👇👇

@Gina Marisa great questions. I’d post consistently for 90 days THEN check those non-follower stats. Yes… you need that much consistency to get the data to make data-driven decisions. Keep going. You’re doing amazing!

@Andrea Thurston Yes... so we need more REACH with our attraction content (storytelling content) so we have more of a chance for non-followers to find us, like us and choose to follow us. That way, we have the chance for them to see our influence and enroll content. The best way to do that is Trial Reels on IG because they ONLY go to people who are not following us yet. On FB, that option doesn't exist but you will be able to tell how viral a reel goes by the percentage of non-followers that see it. The higher that number, the more viral your content went. Hope that helps!
Happy 2026!
Happy New Year, friends 💛 I’m really grateful you’re here, and I want you to know how hopeful I feel about this year ahead for this community. As we step into 2026, I want to gently name something I believe deeply — learning how to use social media with intention is becoming an important skill for those who want flexibility, stability, and options in their work and lives. Not because you have to do everything. Not because you need to be perfect or loud or “on” all the time. But because when you understand how this space works, it gives you more choice. And here’s what I want you to hear clearly: You already have what it takes to learn this. Most people don’t struggle because they’re incapable. They struggle because they’re trying to figure things out alone. Skills come with time, practice, and support — and that’s exactly what this space is here for. This year, my encouragement to you is simple: stay close. Stay close to the trainings. Stay close to the conversations. Stay connected to the community when things feel confusing or slow. You don’t need to do everything at once. You don’t need to rush. You just need to keep showing up and taking the next small step. I’m really proud of the men and women in this space, and I’m honored to walk alongside you this year. Here’s to a steady, grounded, supportive 2026 — together. 💛
