Programming Your Own OS 💻
🚀 Mindset Masterclass Daily Nugget Your life isn’t random. It’s not luck. It’s not fate. 👉 It’s the output of your own mental programming. Every thought is code you write into your operating system. Write junk code, and you get junk results. Write strong, purpose-driven code, and you unlock higher-level outcomes. 💡 Today’s challenge: What line of “mental code” are you going to rewrite to upgrade your life? — Dr. Heath @therapy_bites

It’s time for some reprogramming of my mind. I need more positive output which means I have to change the programming of my mind. That is a time consuming effort which I am willing to put in the time to do.
Feeling Comfortable
I just want to say this. This place feels like a great place to get something’s off my mind without judgement. Sometimes, I just need someone to talk to and just let me vent. It wil help to get some stuff off my mind at that time.

@Todd Hagood thank you! I really do appreciate that!
Smart Forgetfulness 🧠
Worried over forgetfulness? You may be worrying for nothing. Research suggests that forgetfulness can be linked to higher intelligence, as individuals with superior long-term memories often forget less important details. If we lacked the ability to NOT remember, our brains would be garbage bins of useless clutter. Join the discussion today on Midday☀️Mindset https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1DXGyqWWbEYGM

This means I have an high level of because I forget a lot of stuff I was told two days ago. 🤣🤣🤣 On a serious note. I use to play a contact sport and I am hoping I don’t have CTE because I do forget a lot of items. Good news, I have always been like that since I was a kid. I would just forget things people would tell me to do or something I need to do. It’s not like I did it on purpose at all. I just couldn’t help it.
🌱 Thinking Positively vs. Thinking Accurately
Positive thinking sprays perfume on the trash bin. Accurate thinking takes the trash out. Both emotions and actions run on the same fuel: THOUGHT PROCESSES Change the cognition → change the chain. Don’t chase “positive.” Choose “accurate.” 1️⃣ Ask yourself, “What THOUGHT am I experiencing in this moment?” 2️⃣ Drill down to the SIMPLEST form of that thought. 3️⃣ Interrogate that thought for ACCURACY. How realistic is it really? What EVIDENCE does it have? Forget thinking POSITIVELY. Accuracy builds better mindsets. Know someone struggling with their own thoughts? Having a main thought and forcing in on it. I think what I got from this, is to start thinking more “I know I can” instead of “I think I can”. If I start to think “I know” instead of “I think” and start using that logic in my everyday life, I know I can accomplish more! That’s going to be a change but I am willing to work on that.

@Robert Hardaway it’s definitely a hard process. I have tried to start working on this as soon as I posted it and it’s working out pretty well. 😁 Still a long road ahead. Had to start somewhere.
Weekend Mindset: Overwhelming Use of Overwhelming 😳
“Overwhelming” is yet another way of catastrophizing an experience. These days, every non-preferred event gets labeled “OVERWHELMING”. Remember, “overwhelming” refers to something that can kill us. Tornadoes, earthquakes, Tsunamis etc may, in fact, be overwhelming for this reason: They can be deadly. Overwhelmed is a cognition; a thought process NOT A FEELING. THINKING you are “overwhelmed” creates the FEELING/EMOTION of nervousness, anxiety, or panic. Something being nonpreferred or difficult or tiring does not equate to being overwhelming. Catastrophizing the hard things in life activates our limbic system but only because we have assessed them as being more threatening than they actually are. Our own words program our reality. Be careful how YOU are programming yours this weekend.

@Dr. Heath I just want to make sure I have this right. When I get the “feeling” of being overwhelmed, I should slow down and think about the process on how I got this “feeling” and then analyze this situation. At that point, figure out the better process of thinking based on the situation.

@Dr. Heath I guess it’s more of a combination of more than one feeling. I feel stressed, anger, sadness, and depression. So yes to me, those feelings do feel like I’m overwhelmed but it’s nothing that will be the death of me. So, now I get what you are saying. After I think about the situation, I do calm down and figure out how to get out of that feeling of being overwhelmed when I am actually not. This really helped with me talking this out on this platform. I just might keep using this. Thank you! Sorry for going on a rant like that! 😁
