Yesterday was a strong day…
I love looking at the stats at the end of the day, I don’t track fibre last year but have started to this year. I did an intensive bodypump session, so fuelling wise this was good, on a less active day, I’d likely be aiming for 1600-1700 calories. How was your day yesterday? Did you track?

1700 - 1900 cals which is perfectly okay with the fact that I had an hour PT session first thing and took all the Christmas decs down.
Setting a Baseline (Live Call Recording)
What might you measure for your starting baseline? In this 24 minute call, I share the importance of setting a non judgemental baseline, and what things you might want to measure across the 30 days. I have included a visual aid (my notes) and also an example tracker. Only track what is important to you, be curious, and start noticing the smaller things which might be signalling change that you don't always pay attention to. Next steps.... 1. Set your own baseline 2. Share in the group if you feel open to it (totally not necessary) 3. Look out for the NEW custom GPT with instructions in the Curriculum Area (ETA 2pm) On tomorrows live call at 8pm I will be helping you set your goals and sharing how the 30 day challenge will work. As always the calls will be recorded. Please do comment and share your learnings, and any questions you have. PS...there are 2 types of calls on Skool, Skool Calls...a bit like Zoom, and Skool Webinars, where I assume there are no cameras and you just get to see me...any thoughts on which you prefer and why? I will probably offer a range of these, and share which one it is...there is never a requirement to have cameras on, or to talk, but its lovely when there are people there to interact with

Run or Walk
I am doing a mile a day challenge in January to get me out of the door every day. As part of my baseline I will do a 5k in the morning. At the start of this journey I was taking over an hour to do a parkrun, and a few weeks back I managed one in 36 minutes. I’m likely to be close to 40 minutes again, and would love to get strong enough to get under 30 Will you be including a 1 mile or 5k baseline?

I'm hopefully doing parkrun in the morning though not.my normal one so a bit difficult to use as baseline as I've no idea on the route / hills etc. But im also doing minimum 40 miles in Jan
Have you set a baseline yet?
On Sunday I am running a brief masterclass on the importance of setting a baseline. Think about what you might like to measure, what data sets you might want to track and what your measures of success might be. You can check out all events in the calendar area.

I'm with you Sian - it's continually progressing to the goals for 2026 but I will make notes / comments in my bot on Sunday for by "baseline"
Manifesto for 2026
PROMPT… Create a hand-drawn doodle-style motivational poster with a slightly gritty, imperfect, human feel. Use a textured background like paper or chalkboard. Headline text: “My Commitment is….[insert your answer] Include space for personalisation with text such as: “This year I’m focusing on feeling more: [insert 1–3 words]” “My main goal right now is: [insert goal or focus]” “I’ll measure progress by: [insert habit or outcome]” Add a short list of calm, supportive affirmations about consistency, strength, nourishment, movement, and sustainable habits (not restriction or hustle). Use simple hand-drawn icons like stars, ticks, leaves, arrows, or an hourglass to represent progress and patience. The overall tone should feel supportive, grounded, and long-term focused. End with a gentle closing line like: “I’m building something that lasts.”
