Problem Pitch Testing
Hello everyone! Lets say you pick 2 Problems for your Problem pitch. Out of a hundred calls, how many would you say should relate to the problems you are pitching? When do I know I am not hitting the right nerve?
Being up front is working
Spoke with a current customer today and she mentioned how many cold calls she gets on a regular basis. She shared many reps are like telemarketers, pretending to care how her day is going I asked if I were to be up front and say โ€œthis is a dreaded cold call, can I have 30 seconds to tell you why Iโ€™m calling before you decide if you want to hang upโ€ would that be better? She said absolutely, donโ€™t BS me on fake niceties What weโ€™re learning here works! Have you seen a difference in people willing to chat by being up front?

I've experienced the same thing. People who usually always just slam down the phone all of a sudden I have a 5 min conversation with.

Hallo fellow sales people. I am Marc, 26 y.o. Im from Germany and live in Dubai since the beginning of this year. I've been cold calling and setting for almost 1 year now. We call online shops and offer them a SaaS Solution. Until about 2 weeks ago our whole approach to Sales in general was very boiler room-ish. But I was sick of putting all our focus on just the sheer volume we put out. I know its a Numbers game, but there had to be a better way. And thats exactly why I am glad to be here! ๐Ÿ’ช
How often do you Follow up?
Hello Guys, Is there a limit to following up? Trying to figure out a more efficient way of calling the right people. I usually call all my leads every few weeks or months even if they said that its totally irrelevant or not interesting. Obviously you cannot catch everyone with your pitch or tonality and its totally normal to just try again. But sometimes it just doesn't make any sense, because there is no problem to solve at the moment. Is it worth to keep calling the same leads every few months, having basically the same conversation every time in the hopes that now something finally changed? How often do you guys follow up until you decide that you're time is spend more wisely talking to other people instead?

Cold calling fears
Hey guys Iโ€™m 29 years old only a month into sales. Iโ€™m doing merchant processing sales. I know the opportunity to add value to these businesses and sell is there but Iโ€™m afraid to hear no and pick up the phone. What are some ways you guys handle the fear and anxiety of picking up the phone?

Few easy things you can do: 1. Power dialer Usually its just the first few calls, after that you get into a groove - With a powerdialer you only need to commit once at the start of your session 2. Understand that a no is never personal. They say no to your offer, its purely business. - Never think that they say no, because of you. 3. Allow yourself to Fail - Usually the fear comes from putting to much importance on each lead. - So what if you burn one of them? - Maybe you stumble over your own words, make a bad joke and sit in akward silence for 3 seconds. Every Fail is a new learning and there is literally unlimited Leads to call

@Kenny Batke In german we always say something along the lines of "he already hasn't bought". Meaning if you call him he might say no, if you don't call him its a safe no. Of course if leads are scare prepare yourself but at the end of the day you can only find out when calling.
