My first shoot was before doing the courses here and got very good portrait photos which are 90% unusable due to insta expectation. Made profile and a highlight. Second was one who did not know good spots, i found some in phuket, decent shoot, best hotels near, marina and one architecture shoot. Third one knew the spots, respected the guidelines better and brought models for the final shoot in bangkok In my case, i prefer this than tripod and Lightroom and i may make some new contacts for the future Maybe we make a post with photographers per location that we recommend. @Brett Stringfellow i went in novotel Phuket town and Marriott bangkok with a photographer in each, ordered drinks and did my shoots. Marriott was a rooftop, opening time for golden hour. All was ok. Next plan is to do the same in Bucharest at ihg and munich at sofitel; but in munich i will be a guest, so i can do all i want. I can recommend that you check with your photographer for locations. They should know where it is ok or not. I did the same in royal marina, they security did not allow my photographer to go down on the private bay area, but no one stopped me, even though there was a manager on aite that was looking ay me and noticed i was posing. Plan the spot in the shoot, order from the bar, you are a customer and always walk in as you belong on at least you are a customer. With tripod might be harder than with a photographer, have not tried it yet

@Eric Klinefelter i was going to bangkok fir the weekend, got 3-4 outfits, hired a photographer for 2 hours, did the solo shoots and final one was rooftop at sunset, photographer knew the place, i double checked it, all spots checked in advance. Target was 3 models, dressed accordingly, they touch, i do not touch, light engagement, i was actually talking with them and enjoying our drinks for 80% of the shoot, only 20% posing. Photographer guidelines were the ones from this forum, there is a good post with 10 rules for insta and i instructed the photographer based on the summary of the classes from here. The idea is not to lie, i had an awesome time, no sex though, with 2 chinese students i met in singapore 2 weekends before, but no way to take pics, middle of the night, hot pot restaurant at 5 in the morning, so i did not even try to take the pica as they cannot be used as i am truing to show a specific persona on insta with max 3x3 posta for grid for now and only 2x6 of good quality. This is why i decided to book shoots, to showcase real events, but in instagram able settings whenever i travel. Next is munchen in january amd maybe one shootnat home in bucharest after.

@Eric Klinefelter for me it was an easy choice, i spent the night with 2 chinese girls in singapore, no sex, but laughs and flirting. No photos, no glamour locations as well we went to a hot pot at 5 am. I wanted to replicate that kind of encounter but worthy for my grid as a hot pot selfie with 2 girls would not have the same weight.
