NSV: 6 consecutive days of movement. My body responded best to the breathing and mobility exercises I did.

Not a reset. Not a hustle. Not a “new year, new rules” situation. This month is about you. Not who you’re trying to fix. Not who you think you should be. But who you’re becoming. So before the goals… before the plans… before the pressure… let’s start with one simple question: “Who do I want to become this year?” Not what do I want to lose. Not what do I want to control. But who do I want to embody. Stronger? Calmer? More present? More confident? More at peace in your body? There’s no wrong answer here. Just honesty.

Who do i want to become this yr? Someone who shows herself as much love and grace as she does others. Its easy to feed the family well, make sure they get the rest they need, medications, time with friends, show up for them daily but when it comes to myself I leave too much undone. I need to eat a full, sit down breakfast but I dont. I put off health appointments, I skip workouts, I grab a diet pop, I need help with something but dont ask for it because I feel like its my responsibility.

@Erica Hoese Thank you. I sorta started on Monday, after a very stressful and crappy morning. I talked with a friend and realized there were 4 things that I had to address ASAP. 1. I've made an effort each day to do the MOST important thing right away, no procrastinating. Its so hard but it made the rest of this week feel a lot better because those tasks got off my plate. 2. Supplements in the morning with my coffee. 3.Short. like 10 minute fast walks on the treadmill when i feel the emotions building. And number 4. i told all 5 of my kids that for my mental health I'm going to start "shutting down" at 8pm bed is 8:30 like normal. I basically told them the last 30 min need to be for me to power down my brain, or prep something for the next day, or whatever I see that I want to do. or just veg on the couch! 4 days in and I do feel a little better.

Power of Protein
1 gram of protein per IDEAL body weight. Not perfection. Not restriction.Just fueling your body the way it thrives. ❤️💪🏻 Here are some clean, high-protein, grab-and-go ideas (15g+ each!) to help you hit your goals without stress: 🥣 Greek Yogurt + Berries (~20g) 🥒 Cottage Cheese + Veggies (~24g) 🐟 Tuna Pack + Crunchy Peppers (~17–20g) 🥚 2 Eggs + ½ Cup Egg Whites (~20g) 🍗 Chicken Breast Bites (~22–25g) 🧀 Turkey Roll-Ups (~18–22g) 🥤 Clean Protein Smoothie (~20–25g) 🌱 Edamame Cup (~17g) 🍓 High-Protein Oats (~18–20g) 🥣 Lentil Cup (~15–18g) 🌱Your body needs protein to build muscle, support metabolism, balance hormones, and help you FEEL like yourself again. 🍎 When you fuel right, everything becomes easier — energy, cravings, sleep, mood, fat loss… all of it. ✨ Keep it simple. Keep it doable. Keep it YOU.

Holiday Stress
Okay, I have to ask… is anyone else already feeling that low-key holiday pressure creeping in? 😅 You know — trying to wrap up work, keep the house semi-presentable, show up for your people, and still somehow “soak it all in”? Let’s take a breath together. This space isn’t about pretending everything’s fine — it’s about keeping it human. So tell me: 👉🏻 What’s one thing that always stresses you out around the holidays? 👉🏻 And what’s one thing that actually helps you feel grounded this time of year? No polished answers needed — just real talk.

What stresses me out the most, is trying to make things special while kids are home from school. There's always extra farm work or house work that creep in on top if daily chores. Or trying to do fun things leading up to the holiday and everything falls during chore time. So while its fun, its also stressful! what makes me feel grounded is taking time to sit with hot chocolate and look at our Christmas decorations. Most are second hand, gifted, or homemade and they are chuck full of good memories.
