Day 2 of Faith and Form Raw Food Challenge
So, How did yesterday go? I know I have done this several times, but if it’s any consolation to you, it was still hard. I have been moving houses and working a full time job in the middle of 3 kids transitioning to summer! Here is a moment of honesty to you all! With all these going on, I have felt stretched and frustrated, weak and fatigued. It’s been hard. Consider also moving comes with extra budget items. So when am looking at my food and I am trying to navigate everything the temptation to just not do anything and succumb to not starting was high. I had to surrender! Surrender for me looked like; quick short prayer loudly and silently throughout the day. When I sensed triggers to unrest and frustration, I thank God he helped me to take a moment and breath. My meals were green shake with spinach, mixed berries and flaxseed flour. And then an avocado and tangerines. I was so tired I was not super hungry in the evening but the temptation of emotional eating was high. So I took my sips of water and closed shop. I sang afew songs and my choir songs that we are working on for church were on replay throughout the night. It’s the battle to surrender! The surrender that leads to victory! What does surrender look like for you this week? Be bold and share with us in the comments….

I am reminded of the song: ā€œI Surrender All.ā€ All my wants, all my wishes, all my ways, everything!!!! I think of apostle Paul and all he gave up and all he suffered. Lord help me to be willing to surrender it all to you.Amen
🧔 MEDITATION TIME | DAY 2 ā€œSurrender & Health: God’s Designā€
hey sister!! How are you doing today? How did day 2 go? We find ourselves in Proverbs 3 again today. But before diving into verses 5–8, I was also in Haggai this morning—and as God would have it, the message echoed the same truth: āž”ļø Trust God. Let’s walk through Proverbs 3:5–8 together. There’s a divine rhythm here: āœ”ļø Trust in the Lord with all your heart āœ”ļø Don’t lean on your own understanding āœ”ļø Acknowledge Him in all your ways āœ”ļø Turn away from evil And what does God promise in return? ā€œIt shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.ā€ (Proverbs 3:8 KJV) šŸ’” Think about that: 🧬 Bone marrow is the production center of our blood cells. Healthy marrow means healthy blood. And healthy blood is foundational to a healthy body. 🌱 The navel—our very first lifeline in the womb—connects to the organs responsible for nourishment. Even after birth, the vessels around the navel still play a role in our digestive system. God is not just giving poetic imagery here. He’s revealing a biological reality: āž”ļø Surrendering to Him… āž”ļø Walking in the fear of the Lord… āž”ļø Departing from evil… …is directly tied to our physical health and nourishment. ✨ To fear God is to flourish. ✨ To walk away from evil is to walk toward life. ✨ To trust Him with your path is to anchor your health in Him. Your surrender isn’t just spiritual—it’s biological. And your healing isn’t just physical—it’s spiritual. šŸ’¬ Let’s Reflect Together Take 2 minutes today and ask the Holy Spirit: āž”ļø ā€œLord, is there an area in my life where I’m still leaning on my understanding?ā€ āž”ļø ā€œIs there a place You’re calling me to trust You more deeply?ā€ šŸ“– Share in the comments: What verse stood out to you today? Or—what is one way you’re choosing to depart from evil and walk in God’s path for your health? Let’s grow together, sisters—in faith, in truth, and in wholeness. 🌸

🧔 MEDITATION MOMENT | PROVERBS 3:1–5
ā€œTo Surrender Is to Conquerā€ If you are anything like me, surrender is hard. To actively, willfully, and calmly relinquish control? That’s real hard. But in Proverbs 3, we are given a clear command: ā€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.ā€ But pause with me and notice: This command comes after the call to remember God’s law. Why should we remember it? Because it adds length of days, long life, and peace. Because it brings favor and good understanding with God and man. And what is this law we’re not to forget? ā€œLet not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart.ā€ šŸ’› Mercy means we don’t treat the offender as they deserve. But this goes both ways: 1. We are to remember the mercy God has shown us—that’s freedom to just be. 2. We are to show mercy to others—that’s freedom to thrive. ✨ Health cannot exist where there is bondage. And mercy is one of the greatest forms of freedom. šŸ’› Truth is Jesus Himself. And in Him, are all things held together (Col. 1:17). We must not forget that. So then—when the Word tells us to trust God and not lean on our own understanding, it’s because: āž”ļø Naturally, it doesn’t make sense to believe that letting go of control… āž”ļø …showing mercy instead of protecting self… āž”ļø …surrendering instead of clinging tightly… …will lead to peace, health, and long life. But it’s the only way. It’s not weakness—it’s the only door. šŸ’„ To surrender is to conquer. And today, I invite you to conquer.
