🏕️ Who loves to camp?
What do you love most about it? Is it the quiet mornings with coffee outside? The campfire conversations? Sleeping under the stars? Exploring new trails? Cooking outdoors? Or just unplugging from everyday life? I’d love to hear what keeps you coming back to camping. ⛺💚 Bonus points for pictures!

@Mk Duma @Sybil Hall Here was the video I made I did this in March 2025 so it was still cold out and the worse part was leaving the car in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom it was soo cold but I was shocked because people were still actually tent camping at that time they were pretty hardcore!

A Thank You ❤️
Thank you for being on this journey with me. Whether you’ve been here from day one or just joined, every comment, question, win, idea, and conversation helps shape what we’re building together. This isn’t a community where I simply teach. We’re building it together, one post, one workshop, and one conversation at a time. I notice the people who show up. I read your comments. I celebrate your wins. I learn from your questions. And I genuinely appreciate every one of you. One little favor… If you’ve been meaning to post, this is your sign. 😊 Share a win. Ask a question. Show us what you’re building. Tell us what you’re stuck on. Even one post can spark an idea or encouragement that helps someone else. Thank you for believing in this vision of building multiple income streams without burnout. I’m so glad you’re here. 🙏🏻

@Sybil Hall I've actually put a lot of thought into that, and I'm waiting because I watched the most recent Skool news. They mentioned they're going to be making things better for the freemium account setup, to where as soon as somebody joins, it's going to show them automatically the subscription levels. When you're on freemium, the only time somebody can get to those payment options is: - you either give them the link manually - they click it from the sidebar - you have it in a call to action in a post It's very hard for them to find it, so I think with this new rollout that might work out in my favor, and I'm just sitting here waiting for it.

@Sybil Hall yeah I think actually it will be smart to offer that VIP monthly solution as more people start entering the door and seeing the upgrades immediately.
✨ Reintroducing Myself, One Story at a Time #3
In my last reintroduction post, I shared how my bestselling book led me to creating guided journals. But here's something else most people don't know. I didn't use a bank to grow that business. I used Kiva. When my journals started selling, I had a problem every product business dreams of having. I needed inventory. The journals were selling, but manufacturing physical products takes cash before you ever make a sale. I didn't want to use a credit card. I didn't want to take out a traditional business loan. Then I realized Kiva gave crowdfunding loans to US entrepreneurs, too. Kiva offers 0% interest loans funded by people all over the world. It felt like such a good fit for me. People who believe in your business lend to you. You grow. You repay the loan. Then those same dollars get recycled to help another entrepreneur. My first Kiva loan was for $4,000. It helped me manufacture my first set of journals. I repaid it about eight months early. Then, after a successful payoff, Kiva pre-approved me for a second loan. This time it's $10,000. I'm actually in the middle of raising funds for it right now. (You're literally watching this chapter happen in real time.) The funding will help me manufacture more journals, planners, and other products that support people's well-being. One of my favorite things about building multiple income streams is realizing there is almost always another way. You don't always need more money. Sometimes you need a different strategy. Sometimes you need to ask for help. Sometimes you simply need to learn that another option exists. That's what entrepreneurship has taught me over and over again. There is almost always another path. 📚 This post is part of my Reintroducing Myself series. You'll find the growing collection in the Burn Bright, Not Out Classroom

@Sybil Hall yeah I don't think I would go the Kiva route the reason being is you have to get so many donations from people yourself and it's already hard enough to get people to leave free reviews on my book that just cost them their time LOL

@Sybil Hall Yeah, I don't have family members that are willing to even invest at all, so I don't have a base of people that would do that. To help it move to the next stage
UPDATE: Tess is the #1 Best Seller in 3 categories: A Simple KDP Strategy Worth Trying 👀
UPDATE: Tess is the #1 Best Seller in 3 categories right now!!! Go check it out. Scroll down to product details and click through to see what the status looks like! Be aware that it changes frequently. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DTJ8W2MM One of our VIP members, @Tess Brigham, is doing something smart that I wanted to share because it’s a strategy you can absolutely replicate if you publish on Amazon KDP. She’s running a Kindle Select free promotion for a few days. The goal isn’t just free downloads. It’s to: - Increase visibility in Amazon’s rankings - Get more readers - Earn more reviews - Build momentum that can carry over after the promotion ends I used this strategy myself on my books first birthday, and it helped me earn a bestseller badge. It doesn’t guarantee results, but when you combine a free promotion with your community and email list, it can be a powerful way to build traction. If you’d like to support Tess, her book is currently free to download through July 3. 📖 True You: A Step-by-Step Guide to Conquering Your Quarter-Life Crisis If you know a 22 to 35 year old who’s feeling stuck, burned out, or unsure of their next step, this could be a great resource to share with them too. If you read it, consider leaving an honest Amazon review a few days after downloading. Reviews are one of the biggest gifts you can give an author. I’d also love for you to look beyond this specific promotion and notice the strategy. Building an audience that shows up for your launches is one of the most valuable assets you can create. Have you ever used a Kindle Select promotion? Or if you’re planning to publish a book, would you try this strategy?

@Sybil Hall I'm glad you're still finding time to update your existing book while you're continuing to work on your new projects, and I've definitely been stuck in overwhelm mode. I did have Claude write an entire book for me, so that's going to be a whole new experience for me. I'm hoping that I'll have time to get that launched this month, but I'm also trying to not rush the process either.

@Sybil Hall yeah I hope to maybe also think ahead and maybe do some christmas themed books or something.
Loan Approval 🎉 🎊
I wanted to share a win with this community because I know many of us are building our businesses one step at a time. I was approved for a $1,000 loan through PARO, an organization that helps women entrepreneurs in Canada access funding when traditional financing can be difficult. The best part? $500 of this first loan is forgivable. I'll repay the remaining $500 with payments of about $60 a month for eight months. If all goes well, I can then apply for a $2,000 loan, with $1,000 of that also being forgivable. For me, this feels like a real breakthrough. At first, I was going to put the money toward a $3,000 landing page. Instead, I hired someone on Upwork to build me a simple landing page for just $200 CAD, and they did a fantastic job. That decision freed up the rest of the money for something even more valuable: buying back my time. Yesterday, I interviewed 4 virtual assistants in two hours! 🤯 I've hired one of them for a six-hour trial over the next two weeks, starting Monday. If we're a great fit, I'll keep them on long after this funding is gone. This feels like one of those small decisions that can create much bigger opportunities down the road. Sometimes growth isn't about working harder. It's about getting the right support so you can focus on the work that only you can do. Here's to first milestones—and many more to come. 🚀
