SOTD - TF Oud Voyager
Giving this my first test run from DecantX sample. I love Oud Mineral, Oud Wood, wanted to give this one a try and I just love the florals in this. This isn't a screamer, but it aint sitting quietly in the corner either. Beautiful scent trails and the scent bubble is about an arm to arm and half. This is amazing. I am huge fan of unisex/masculine fragrance with Peony in it, its very rose like, which I have come to love, over the past few months.

@Jermaine Carolina “Rube Goldberg solution” incoming: Get a sample vial of the absolu. Pull it out after a romantic dinner and flash it. When asked say come see. Proceed to the boudoir and pour sample in your hands. rub from under her chin to between her breasts. ‘Freak out over how much that scent rocks - “Even on Her”. Proceed to show her how good it is for you both. Mention the fragrance is on discount somewhere and ask if she wants you to have some more…
Which Note Took You the Longest to Understand?
I’ve been training my nose more seriously, and one note still challenges me every time: the oregano and herbal smoke effect in Amouage Interlude Man. I know it isn’t literally just oregano. It’s that mix of oregano, pimento berry, incense resins, and leathery balsamic facets all hitting at once. The way they combine is so unusual that it took me a long time just to understand what I was smelling. Honestly, I’m still working on it. So I’m curious: What note took YOU the longest to understand or appreciate? Was it oud? Patchouli? Metallic notes? Ambrox? Something herbal or smoky like Interlude? Also, did a specific fragrance finally help that note “click” for you the same way Interlude is forcing me to learn how to dissect herbal smoky textures?

@Aditya Choksi yeah after my 4th oud purchase I went back through them side by side and that helped a ton
Question for you guys!!
Let’s forget about the textbook for a second, Should a fragrance be discovered or announced? A lot of YouTubers say discovered but they secretly spray 10+ others are straight forward just don’t knock out the room #not more then 20 sprays!!! whats your take?

@Dovi Rubelow depends. Who are you to the room and will it help you command attention or just differentiate?
