Ocean Stepping
Is there an Ocean stepping video somewhere in the classroom? I cant yet seem to locate a practice where that is demonstrated.
Walking and Qigong
I have always been a walker. I usually do 3-4 miles each day with some fairly significant elevation changes. I found that as I got older the elevation changes did make me pant increasingly more. I started over the last two weeks to work some of the Qigong breathing elements into my walking using my arms to help pace the inhale and exhale timing on the inclines. Over the last couple of days I have noticed that my breathing is becoming slightly slower on the steep grades. I am hopeful and optimistic that this will help me to get into a more relaxed place with the more challenging walks. Thanks Sonny!

@Joshua Harris I have noticed that my pace slows a bit when i try to pace my breathing but since i usually try this on the steeper inclines, the pace is not as important and is naturally slower.

@Kirby Mannon I have also started to explore using Qi movements in my warmup and as a release towards the end of my walk when the tension in my back and hips start to build at the end of a long walk. In my warmup I love the eagle because it stretches my back and loosens my hips. I also love lifting up the sky to stretch things out. I use the owl as a release in my walk to help breath pace and to loosen my shoulders and neck.
Day 3 Qigong discussion
Sonny I just finished the Day 3 discussion of the evolution of of Qigong and loved your dichotomy of it development and many focuses but also how its personal and your approach to teaching it. I It cleared up some biases and preconceptions I had. Bravo
