Time to recharge
Been a while since I posted on here. So over the last couple of months I have had lots going on personally in my home life and work has been mental. So yesterday and today I have taken urgent leave to take time out and recharge before I burn out or get charged with someone's murder at work. So for two mornings running, I have done 8,000 steps, 15 mins cardio (starting to realise how unfit I am) and a gym session all before 730. Yesterday I then went for a walk along the beach, done some reading and for me building lego is relaxing so built my insect collection piece. Already I feel so much better for it. I guess what I am trying to say is don't be afraid to put you first. Putting time in for you, isnt selfish, it's needed. So with that in mind, what are you doing this weekend that is just for you?

It’s good that you recognised you needed time out and it takes a lot to say so, so well done for that. Good to have you back 🤩 I’ve had a massage and tomorrow it’s nails. Just little snippets of time out for myself to relax and recharge before Monday comes around again. Have an awesome weekend
Tired
I slept like crap last night considering how tired I was in the day I hoped to pass out but nope. I really didnt feel like goin to the gym this morning but I dragged my ass and got it done I did dream I met Jamie at a party and he gave me some advice so that kind of put the Jamie says you've gotta go thought into my head lol and I wore my new top today the black 1 the purple 1 i wore to zumba Wednesday lol

I often have that thought of people telling me off for not wanting to go the gym then if I don’t go, I feel like I’ve let them down. Love both the tops ❤️

Just be kind. You have no idea how much work it takes for some people to even walk out of the house, never mind in leggings, or even to walk through the door of a gym!

@Sarah Keery ive just watched your video and it breaks my heart that you had to experience that. People can be so cruel. I’ve had boys chasing me on bikes whilst I ran in shorts shouting at me for my wobbly fat legs, telling me I’m too fat to run but as others have said it comes from their own insecurities and although it upsets us we are stronger than them and we have to remember that. You are doing amazing, 🤩 so super proud of you. Please don’t let that sadness linger, use it to smash out another fab workout. I find smashing the medicine ball off the gym floor so therapeutic 🤣 Keep up the amazing work 💪
On Fire 🔥
I was on fire at the gym tonight, even my PT commented on my performance. I’m super proud of my progress. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be confident in the gym, lifting weights like I am now. Thanks to @Jamie Bigg and this amazing group, for supporting me and getting me this far. Let’s see how much further I can push this. Game on 🤩🏋️‍♂️💪

Tip Of The Day
✊ Train your grip. Strong hands carry over to every lift and most people ignore them completely. Hang from a bar, carry something heavy, build it.

I struggle with grip and wear gloves for lifting but think I need full coverage ones as took the skin of my pinky yesterday doing the sled pull 😢🤦‍♀️
