You feel like you eat healthy…but you still feel “off”.
You’re eating “healthy”… but still don’t feel good. Low energy. Hormones off. Second guessing every meal. What if it was simpler? Beef. Butter. Eggs. Raw milk. Berries. Tallow. Salt. That’s the foundation I keep coming back to… along with sleep, sunlight, and daily rhythms that actually matter. I created Animal Based Women as a space to figure this out together.Less noise. More real life. A lot like the community I used to build locally, just online. If you’ve been craving something that makes sense again, come join us. It’s early, it’s growing, and it’s a really good time to step in 🌿

Please Introduce Yourself
One of the most important things I've learned since becoming an online entrepreneur is that the most important thing you can do to grow your business is to build relationships. Many of us (myself included) have rushed to promote our groups and services that we care so deeply about. And it only makes sense - we are excited about what we are doing! Today, I'd like to invite you to take a step back and introduce yourself to the group by answering the following questions: 1. Who are you personally? 2. Who are you professionally? 3. What is something you love doing outside of work? 4. What is something surprising about you? As you open up and make more connections, you will find that not only are people more interested in what you do, but they will also be more interested in helping you make connections with other people they know! 😉 After you introduce yourself, please scroll through the other introductions and add a comment to someone you have something in common with or would like to know more about. 😊 Please add your introduction in the comments below! ⬇️

Hi everyone 😊 I’m Karisa. I’m a wife, a mom, a homesteader, and someone who really cares about building meaningful, local-first community. Life for me looks like cows in the pasture, kids learning alongside me, and a constant pull toward simpler, more grounded living. Professionally, I run a raw dairy herd share here in East Tennessee and have spent the past few years creating spaces that connect people back to their food and to each other. I’ve also started and grown communities both locally and online, and lately I’ve been leaning into helping others do the same, especially when it comes to creating engaging, real-feeling communities. Outside of work, I love being outside, working with my animals, and honestly just slowing things down enough to enjoy it all. Sunshine and a good rhythm to the day go a long way for me. Something that might surprise you is that even though I show up in leadership roles, I still wrestle with doubt and figuring things out as I go. I think that’s part of why I care so much about community. None of us are meant to do this alone. Excited to be here and get to know you all 😊

@Kim M. just dropping int to say thank you for your service. Your story is very similar to ours. My husband is a retired Senior Chief (I secretly wonder if you two have met on an aircraft carrier somewhere 😂 ), and we went gangbusters entrepreneurship not too long after retirement. We have built many wonderful things, and looking forward to building even more on skool!
