Do they allow dogs in pubs & restaurants where you're from?
Something I LOVE about living here in the UK is the dog life. It's everywhere. I live in the countryside, a farmy-area called the Cotswolds. Downsides here are the lack of the great things offered in cities: diversity, international food, bands and live music, things always going on... But the trade-off is worth it for us right now. And part of the trade-off is the dog culture. They're just a part of what we do when we go out & about. In the summertime we make sure we bring their water bowl so they have a drink while we have a coffee. In the wintertime we wipe their feet before they saddle up to the open fire in the corner of the pub. I love it. I also get why people wouldn't want dogs around. The wrong dog in the wrong place is a bad combo. So I'm wondering, where you're from... are dogs allowed in restaurants, bars and shops? Would you like that, or does that make you feel uneasy?

I would say, here in TN, it’s hit or miss. You can take your dog (or your cow/chicken/snake/monkey) into Tractor Supply. I have ACTUALLY seen all of those there. Dogs are welcome in Home Depot too. It’s my favorite part of going there. I am pretty sure dogs are allowed in any outdoor spaces. But I for my dogs, leaving the farm feels stressful for them I think. Like, leaving their responsibilities or something. I don’t know. It’s always fun to me though to see puppers out and about.

Hello! I'm Karisa from East Tennessee, USA. I have 3 dogs. Shay and Jinx:12 year old Border Collie/Black Lab sisters and Malibu Barbie: a 4 year old Cavipoo. They are all what I like to call "Bougie Farm Dogs" and I love them so.

The real reason I created this space After years working with wildlife and animals, I’ve learned that everything comes back to one thing: connection. Nature and animals have so much to tell us. If we slow down and listen, our lives - and this place - can be better. How we interact in today's world can leave us feeling lonely, worried, anxious. I wanted the opposite of that. I wanted a place that feels safe. A place to feel connected. A place to know we’re not alone in this. If that’s you too, you belong here.
