Heat stroke in dogs: COOL FIRST. Then go to vets.
Just a quick psa before we enter the warmer months: Heat stroke in dogs, is not uncommon - - especially in short faced dogs like bulldogs. Even on cool days they’re at risk. And especially in cars. I can post a longer video (let me know in comments if this would be helpful) about prevention/signs - but for now just remember this: Cool them first. That’s the priority. THEN go to the vet. And if possible, both at same time.

Try something new with your dog this week!
🐶 Try This With Your Dog This Week 👇 The “3-Minute Calm & Focus” Challenge Most dogs don’t actually need more exercise… they need more opportunities to think, focus, and succeed. This week, try this simple routine once a day: Three minutes of Engagement 🎯 Before walks or meals (or even better use their meal for the training!): - Say their name once - Reward eye contact - Take 2–3 steps backward - Reward when they follow you. You’re teaching: ✔️ Focus around distractions ✔️ Check-ins with you ✔️ Calm excitement instead of chaos 💡 Bonus Tip:Dogs that sniff, problem-solve, and use their brain regularly are often more fulfilled than dogs that only get physical exercise. Try it for 7 days and comment below how it went with your dog!

Saddest animal scene in a movie?
Growing up when I’d watch a movie, it’s when animals are hurt - especially dogs because they are usually closest to the main human character- uggh. Would stick with me for years.😭 What is the saddest animal movie scene that has stuck with you?
