Leather Jackets, Leather Boots
(Added photos as examples) Opening up a discussion on leather jackets. I’ve owned a couple over the years, and it’s time to add one to my wardrobe angain. Apparently if I’m fiftyish, I can rock a bomber. But at 60, a leather blazer is the thing. So bomber or blazer; that’s my first quandary. The second is color and material. I have black boots and brown boots, and I’ve heard I should match leathers. So suede is out then? And I have to decide if I’d rather wear my black boots or brown boots with a leather jacket, and choose accordingly? Life was so much simpler 30 years ago! Thanks gents!

I am definitely leaning toward the bomber @Warner Smith. Really interested in seeing the photos if you have the opportunity. The peacoat is an intriguing option though!

I’ve been wearing these sneakers out and about lately. The toe box is not terribly elegant, but it is very comfortable.

What Accessory Gets You the Most Compliments?
Sometimes it’s not the jacket or the shoes that people notice - it’s the detail. - A sharp watch. - A clean bracelet. - The right pair of glasses. - Even a simple ring that tells a story. Accessories speak before you do - and the right one can change how people see you. 👉 Question: What’s the one accessory you get the most compliments on - and why do you think it stands out? Drop a photo if you’ve got it 👇

Dressing up when working out of your home?
I admit, I dress in my shorts and t-shirts (sweatpants when cold) for most days because I work out of my home. I would like to hear what other work-from-home people do. Do you dress for success?

I’ve been W@H for the last five years. The last three it’s full time. I wear polos, henleys or short sleeve button up shirts typically. With shorts during the summer. (Sometimes cargo shorts because I bought some before I knew better!) When it gets chilly for those three days in texas, I’ll wear jeans. Usually no shoes unless I break out the treadmill. If I am going to give a formal presentation, I will typically dress business casual, including shoes. Er…boots. I want to make sure I feel the part.
Confidence Booster?

I agree @Peter Poppen! Any time someone asks about their first pair, I recommend spending enough money and time in a physical store (or stores) to find a pair that are comfortable enough that you will want to wear them every day.

Heck yeah @Art Florez! Love that French toe. Both my Lucchese Ropers and lizards have the French toe.
