Quivers: back, side/hip, on bow
What's everyone's favorite quiver set up? Specifically looking at hunting set ups, but all are welcome. Personally I use to prefer a back quiver, but in the thick woods it would get caught up as I ducked under limbs and brush. I've switched to a limb quiver and really love the one from Creek Walker. I also use the hip quivers for target shooting, but don't feel they'd work well in the field.

I hunt with a back quiver but I have it set up to just put over one shoulder. That way when I'm stalking through heavy brush or what ever, I can slide it around to get through the thick stuff. I have tried a bow quiver and honestly probably shoot better with one but I like to lay the bow on my lap when I set up and just can't do that with a quiver on my bow.

Vanes or Feathers
What is the best on an arrow for a recurve 40 lbs ? Vanes or Feathers? Please advise on the polls.

Feathers for sure unless you shoot off an elevated shelf, but even then feathers are far more forgiving.

Gun season
Gun season starts for next two weeks starting tomorrow in Pa. Weather is cold light snow and windy. Will wait till late week and head out with recurve in hand and orange vest on. Catch one slipping.

Our first 3 day gun season was last weekend. Then one week off and next weekend is our second gun season. It's a 4 day season, the the following weekend is our 3 day muzzle loader season. After that, all our gun seasons are done and it's back to bow only until around Jan 18th.
