FRIDAY CHECK-IN: FAMILY & FUR BABIES 🐾❤️
As we head into the weekend, let’s slow it down and zoom out for a second. When I say family, I don’t just mean blood. Family is: - Who you live with - Who you work with - Who you train with - Who you spend your time and energy around - And yes… the fur babies who never let you skip a walk or coming home 😄 - We’re at the very beginning of building something special here—not just a group, but a community that actually supports each other. Over time, this place becomes part of that extended family too. 👇 Your turn:Drop a photo of your family, friends, fur babies, or the people who matter most to you,. One sentence is plenty. No pressure. Just real life. I’ll add mine later today. Looking forward to meeting yours.

Family isn’t just blood. Family is who you choose to do life with. Lunch with friends here at the Tiger Rock Summit — people who are working on themselves, leading others, and pushing to get better. This is my kind of table. One of the fastest ways to grow? Be around people you want to be like. Energy matters. Standards matter. Proximity matters. Choose your circle wisely — you become a reflection of it.
🥩 FUEL THURSDAY — Let’s Talk Decisions
Food is one of the most frequent decisions we make every day — and most people never slow down enough to notice how they’re deciding. So let’s break it down (no judgment, no perfection required): How do you decide what to eat? - Do you plan ahead? - Eat when you’re hungry? - Or eat when you’re hangry and just need something fast? What framework are you using right now? - Keto - Carnivore - Vegetarian - “No sugar / no junk” - Or… no real plan at all (been there) What are you optimizing for most days? - Taste - Fuel / energy - Recovery & rebuilding your body - Convenience And here’s the big one: Has your approach to food changed over time? What type of fuel actually gives you: - Steady energy? - Clear thinking? - Better workouts? - Better mood? Drop a photo, a sentence, or a few bullets. This isn’t about being “right.” It’s about being aware. Fuel isn’t dieting.Fuel is how you show up tomorrow. 👇

@Spencer Reed Appreciate you stepping up while I’m gone. Double time, staying disciplined, and still thinking about fuel, energy, and recovery — that matters. Proud of the way you’re grinding, buddy. Keep stacking the reps. 💪🔥

@Jolee Josephs Love the planning, Jolee — 7 days on / 7 days off is no joke, and staying consistent with that schedule takes real discipline. And as a nurse, this goes way beyond you. The way you eat, train, and recover directly impacts the care you give your patients — you’re not just fueling your body, you’re supporting other people’s lives. That’s hero-level responsibility. Respect. 🙏
Day 2 of Vibration Plate
So, I have a bad habit of going balls out on a lot of things. That’s exactly what I did yesterday. I didn’t start at beginner level, I started at medium hard. It felt great! 25 minutes, that’s all. Then I went to town on cleaning the house. 3 hours later, the truth hit me hard! I’m at the store and my hips, pelvis and lower back are starting to ache like I had just given birth! I sadly hobbled out to my car and drove straight home. Yep, I have learned my lesson, don’t get ‘knocked up’ by the vibe plate. Today I will just sit on it and listen to the breath work video. Tomorrow is a new day, and I will start on beginner’s level!

@Colleen Reed I’ve done this way too many times myself. It feels good, momentum kicks in, and the next thought is “this feels great—let’s keep going.” That’s where it’s really easy to overdo it. The win here is awareness and adjustment. You took the first step, listened to your body, and made a smarter call for today. That’s how progress actually sticks. Proud of you. ❤️

@Dana T You’re not wrong 😄—and this is such a common trap. Feeling good can be just as risky as feeling tired if we’re not paying attention. Appreciate you reinforcing the slow-and-steady approach. That reminder helps more people than you realize.
🏆 Wednesday Wins
Midweek pause. Here’s the truth: life is hard. For some people, just getting to Wednesday takes everything they’ve got—and that’s okay. This community is here for: - The weeks where you’re grinding and building momentum - And the weeks where showing up is the win A win might be: - You took your first step - You took your 10th step - You trained, planned, or followed through - You got out of bed - You slowed your breathing instead of spiraling - You showed up here when it would’ve been easier to disappear All of it counts. If you need help slowing things down, the breathwork videos live here:👉 https://www.skool.com/thedailygrindclub?c=a2046c83f369409e837b8b325a19ba05&s=best-1m&fl= They’re there to support you—not add pressure. Drop one win below. Big or small.Grinding forward or just holding steady. Some weeks we push. Some weeks we endure. Both are part of the grind.

@Heather Angel Thank you for helping me create this community. Watching the way you show up for others—and how you’ve supported me unconditionally—has been a big part of what pushed me to finally do this. I’m grateful for you, truly.

@Colleen Reed Love this. I’m excited to see how the vibration plate supports your training and recovery. Thank you for taking such good care of Sammi and for keeping our lives full, steady, and grounded. I don’t say it enough, but I see it—and I appreciate you more than you know.
📣 New Focus: Breathwork
This week, we’re adding breathwork to the grind. Nothing complicated. Nothing mystical. Just a simple tool to: - Regulate stress - Improve focus - Recover faster - Get out of your head and back into your body You don’t need a long session. 5-15 minutes counts. If you already have a breath practice, great. If not, this is a good week to experiment. More on this as we go.For now—just notice your breath. If you haven’t seen it yet, the full breathwork focus is in the Classroom here :https://www.skool.com/thedailygrindclub/classroom/f9f72128
