He, Yuval Noah Harari, FOLLOWED one of the greatest INDIAN MASTERS shree SN Goenka and LEARNED the MEDITATION techniques that have to do with the ANCIENT INDIAN masters' TEACHINGS. AND, in one of his INTERVIEWS he said, "I don't think I could've written any of my books without the help of the focus and discipline... the clarity this kind of meditation gives..." So, UNLESS one experiences what HE does before writing the BOOKS, one CAN never ever UNDERSTAND FULLY what his words have in them. :) I have not read much of his stuff, but ONLY ONE THING I HEARD HIM say, and that is it!, HE SAID, " THE TRUTH, ultimately, is ONE because reality is ONE." ENOUGH! he said it ALL! AT the end, he is a great meditator who is seeking the ULTIMATE, therefore can write something that can carry some of the essence of that reality. but NOT THE WHOLE.
