Spring Break Vacation Win
I just wanted to share this little win. In the past the old me would always pack workout clothes when going on vacation but would never actually ever put them on. This was my first vacation where I actually ended up wearing them 3 times over a 6 day trip while getting in my Workouts. Was able to have a great vacation while getting workouts in, as well as daily steps for the most part and enjoying eating and trying new foods and staying most days within my calorie limits. A couple days I said screw jt and went over by a few hundred calories but never too badly. We would eat breakfast at the same restaurant every morning and the waiter noticed me weighing all my food and asking me what that was all about after a few days of seeing me do it. Anyways I’m glad to return home after a good trip and for the first time not weighing much more than before I left.

One thing I’ve noticed in here is that a lot of people want to get stronger and build muscle… but feel like they’re guessing in the gym. Random workouts. Random exercises. Trying to copy what they see online. So I decided to build something for this group. I just finished putting together a full STRENGTH BLUEPRINT training course that walks you through how to train properly without overcomplicating things. Inside it I cover things like: ⭐️ The foundations of strength training ⭐️ The main movement patterns you should know ⭐️ 3 complete workout programs depending on how many days you train ⭐️ How to build your own programs later ⭐️ And a full exercise library you can reference anytime I also included a section explaining the science behind muscle building in a way that actually makes sense. The idea is that once you go through this, you should never feel like you’re guessing what to do in the gym again. I’m offering it to the first 30 members here for $27 lifetime access. I love rewarding action takers! 🫡 No subscription. Just a resource you can use whenever you want. 🚨 The course fee will be bumped to $49 after the first 30. If you’re interested, comment STRONG below and I’ll send you the details. And if you’re not someone focused on strength training right now, no worries — the regular content in here isn’t changing. Just wanted to make this available for those who want it 👊

Consistency Over Chaos 🔥
BBB fam… this one hit me hard this week. If I’m being real I go ALL in on everything. Workouts? 110%. Goals? 110%. Life? You already know… 110%. And honestly I used to wear that like a badge of honor. But here’s the truth I’m finally sitting with: Going hard all the time isn’t strength… it’s a fast track to burnout, injury, and setbacks. And yup your girl felt it this week. I started asking myself why am I like this? Is it my competitive nature? Wanting results FAST? Wanting to feel strong, capable, and in control? Or honestly just being a little impatient? Probably all of the above. But what I’m realizing is this: Intensity without consistency is just chaos. And that hit different. Because if I zoom out my real goal isn’t just to go hard for a week… It’s to feel strong, healthy, and energized for YEARS. To play pickleball, lift, do Pilates, travel, live fully… long term. So this week? I pivoted. Instead of pushing through pain I paused. Instead of chasing intensity I chose intention. Instead of more I chose smarter. Recovery. Mobility. Listening to my body. Letting my Oura ring yell at me and actually listening for once 😅 And here’s the reframe I’m holding onto: Pulling back isn’t falling off it’s setting up your next level. This isn’t me quitting. This is me leveling up. Because the strongest version of me? She’s not the one who goes 110% for a week… She’s the one who shows up consistently, sustainably, and intelligently. So if you’re like me always going full send… This is your reminder too: 👉 You don’t need to prove anything by going harder 👉 You get better results by staying consistent 👉 Rest is part of the program not a break from it BBB fam where are you at right now? Are you going 110%… or learning how to pace yourself? Let’s build the long game! 💪🏻

This is HUGE! What an incredibly intelligent assessment and analysis of yourself and your long time goals! 110% can’t last forever but just being boringly consistent can. Love this. Thanks for sharing

@Usra Shah I’ve heard from a doctor online that it’s best not to have it past 10 am because it can affect the quality of your sleep if taken any later than that.
Vacation Wins🖤
I wanted to share this, because it's a testament to the fact that you can eat all kinds of food and enjoy living while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Darren recommends incorporating treats into our diet so that we can find a sustainable way of living that allows us to feel both healthy and happy. I want to share my real-life success story of doing just that. In the past, when I went on a vacation I would have stomach issues, gain several pounds, feel bloated and uncomfortable from overheating, and return home with regret over the choices I made which would result in feeling bad about myself and emotionally beating myself up over it. This Disney trip was our first big vacation since I've made this shift in my lifestyle, and I am so amazed by how much of a difference I noticed. Wins: -Stomach issues gone (this alone is life-changing) ✔️ -Lost 2.1lbs and 0.6% body fat (I know these numbers will continue to fluctuate some as they do)💪🏼 -Tried and appreciated every food I wanted to try without guilt🥨 -Mood overall better🧘🏼‍♀️ -More patience with kids (though not perfect of course)👧🏼 -Confident in my appearance = overall more comfortable = better experience🏆 Here are the things I did to achieve those wins: -Steps!!! The power of walking is so underrated. Step count ranged from 13,430 to 24,433 (not including travel days)🚶🏼‍♀️ -Tracked everything I ate in MFP, even when I only tried a bite of something 📝 -Planned for balance. Looked at what foods I wanted to try at each place the night before. If I knew I wanted nachos, I chose to have an apple and a protein shake that morning and skip the Mickey waffle platter I've had many times before⚖️ -Ate slowly and mindfully, stopping before I felt overly full🧠 -Drank lots of water and mostly only water💦 -Prioritized taking time to rest. Averaged around 8.5 hours of sleep/night (not including travel days)💤 -Incorporated my daily apples and protein shakes🥛 -Skipped the foods that didn't feel necessary (didn't just eat it because it was in front of me)🙌🏼
