🧐 Wednesday Debate: Payment Plans as a way of closing
Today, we will continue discussing sales, and that's why, for today's debate, I wanted to ask you: Do you think offering a payment plan is a great way to close a client? If you have done it, how was your experience? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Just did it a second ago! Sometimes, when people are looking for jobs it's tricky. Payment plan can make it easier. Using Klarna can split payments up into 4 (over 6 weeks), and you still get all the money upfront. Klarna is responsible for chasing if the client doesn't pay. Caveat - the limit is $1500 USD for that. Honeybook is also great, which is what I've started using. If it's feasible, I've started offering payment plans for people who are really struggling, and saying that once they land the job we can discuss how to accelerate it.
Payment Plan Options
Hey all! Just joined on today at the recommendation of @Stan Miller. Really excited to be here as @Daniel Botero is awesome. Question: I've been offering Klarna via Stripe to my clients as a way to split payments. But there's a $1500 limit. What are others doing about this?

Thanks for this Jeff! Great to know. I’ll have to dig into this more. Appreciate the link.

@Todd Linder With Klarna you get all the money upfront. Even though the client pays over 6 weeks. Then Klarna does the chasing if the client doesn’t pay on time or their card fails.
Looking for partners...
Hi Everyone! I'm launching a new program to help professionals create influence through storytelling. Last week, I generated program interest by offering a two-day event (CTA) during my webinar. The two-day event is free as long as attendees pre-schedule a feedback call. On the feedback call, those interested will decide if they want to join. So, essentially, they are sales calls. The good news! I have 150 people interested in the event and over 80 feedback calls on the calendar. The need...I can't take all these calls, so I'm looking for a few partners to step in and help. So, I'm looking to partner with one or two coaches who are willing to help manage sales calls. I'm willing to pay + offer an opportunity to learn about my processes (a look under the hood). If you want to learn more, DM on LinkedIn or Skool. P.S. These aren't pitch slap calls. Attendees will have spent 4 hours with me in a training session.

Hi all! I'm Izzy 👋 - Here's My #NoFilter Career Coaching Journey
Hi all, I'm Izzy Piyale-Sheard, a career coach based in Toronto, Canada. I specialize in LinkedIn and resume transformations. And here's a bit about me and the bumpy start to my career coaching business. ℹ️ A bit about me: - I'm Turkish/Canadian - based in Toronto - I speak 5 languages (3 fluent, 1 conversational, 1 basic conversational) - I'm a new dad looking stop trading time for money and build a better life 🤪 Quirky facts about me: - I opened the NASDAQ stock market in a giant pikachu costume - I was once quoted in a dutch magazine without knowing about it - I was mentioned in Inc.com for my satire on digital nomads - I once made an appearance on a Taiwanese gameshow ****** Here is my unfiltered career coaching journey: ⚫️ - 2016 - The Early Days Launched a Free Job Search Support Community on Facebook that grew to 900+ members - Felt like nobody would ever pay ME for coaching and help - Did a lot of work/support for friends and colleagues for free ⚫️ - 2020 - My First Paid Program ==== MAY ==== - Overcame imposter syndrome - Launched my first paid offering, $150 for a 6-week group coaching program - got 4 clients - Got my first badass testimonials for the program I designed - Person landed a job within 3 weeks after 12 months of job search black hole. 🎉 ==== JULY ==== - Launched several other cohorts, with mixed results. Some great successes, huge wins, huge salary jumps, and happy people. And others who didn't put in the work and didn't succeed. ⚫️ - 2021 - First $10K Month + Burnout - Had my best month ever, made $10K - Did 30+ cold sales calls from LinkedIn leads - Launched a 12 person cohort and made over $10K in one month - Felt a lot of burnout from all the selling, as well as clients not putting in the work
