If you needed to hear this today…
What do these words make you feel? Pausing is not procrastinating. Pausing is prioritizing. I was chatting with a member of my mentorship program about this. I reminded her that for me, pausing doesn’t mean I’m procrastinating. It actually means I’m permitting myself to stop, think, and feel what truly matters for me. That’s how prioritizing looks for me. I will elaborate on this in my next post (so stay tuned! 🥰). But for now, I'm sharing this here for a different reason… This message has felt so strong inside of me since I shared it with her…that it wanted to be free. So I think someone needs to hear this right now as well…someone in our Thriving community. If these words cause you to “pause,” this message is for you. 💕

This reframe is so powerful. Even as I was that member you were chatting with about this, I appreciate this reminder and know I will need it often!!! 💕💕💕💕 Appreciate you so much!
Be Honest — Where Are You Stuck With Shopify Right Now?
A lot of Shopify stores don’t struggle because the product is bad. They struggle because a few small but important things are off. I see this constantly: 1. Visitors land but don’t fully understand the offer 2. Product pages look fine, but they don’t build enough trust 3. Checkout feels uncertain, so people hesitate 4. Beginners launch without a clear foundation and hope for the best The result? Traffic… but very few sales. I’m curious — if you have a Shopify store (or you’re planning one), what feels most confusing or frustrating right now? Is it: 1. Getting your first sale? 2. Turning visitors into buyers? 3. Knowing what to fix first? 4. Choosing what to sell? Comment with the number that fits you best, or just comment “SHOPIFY” and I’ll gladly review your store (or idea) and share a few strategies that actually work.

Seeking Shopify Expertise
Hi!! I'm sooo excited that my brand new truth decks are printed (sitting on my floor) and my new book is published, but I don't have a store yet! I am looking for someone who has expertise in Shopify set-up, setting up shipping, and all the basics for a store, etc. I already have my business website (in HighLevel) and am looking to integrate both systems. (If helpful, my website is: https://thenonlinearjourney.com/ ) I'm a motherhood coach, and tech is not my expertise - emotions are! Any recommendations are welcome! Thanks so much!!! P.S. Special thank you to @Katherine Lizardo for suggesting this! <3

Multiple school threats at my son's school district...
This morning, we received an email from my younger son’s school district telling parents not to send their kids to school because multiple schools had received threats. The email came at 9:30 a.m. Justin was already at school. The message explained that all campuses were placed in Secure Status—not a lockdown, but a safety protocol where students and staff remain inside, perimeter doors are locked, and the school day continues while police assess the situation. Like any parent, my first instinct was: Go get my child. But the instructions asked parents not to come, so as not to disrupt safety procedures. A few minutes later, another email came through. This time, it shifted to a Modified Secure Status, which allowed parents to pick up their kids with ID. So we went. The helicopter circling our neighborhood was unnerving—but necessary. Justin is home now. Safe. And my nervous system is… discombobulated. My mind keeps moving through all the layers: - How the kids must have felt inside those buildings - How teachers and staff carried the weight of protecting them - How parents without flexible work or childcare options were processing this - How first responders showed up, again, for something that never should feel routine For 3 years, I was a legal analyst for Law & Crime Trial Network, covering and analyzing school shootings across the country. That experience gave me a deeper awareness of how many moving parts exist—inside schools, outside campuses, and inside families—during moments like this. Today, my brain isn’t fully back online for work. Justin is home, so my “work-from-home” rhythm is different. I confirmed two member calls earlier that I’ll now reschedule. And the video I planned to record about my Skool funnel—the one I told you all was coming—will wait. And honestly? That’s okay. The ability to pause, adjust, and prioritize my child in real time is one of the reasons I chose to build my own business. Days like today are a reminder that flexibility isn’t a luxury—it’s a value.
