The offer
Hey! Just became a paying UpHex customer (no more trial šŸŽ‰) and I'm trying to wrap my head around the setup + monthly fee model before I go all in. A few things still unclear to me: 1. **Who pays for the ad budget?** Is it built into the monthly fee, or does the client fund it separately? 2. **How do you size the budget?** Is there a formula you use, or is it negotiated case by case? Also a bigger picture question: if I'm targeting a sub-sub-niche (which makes sense to me), why would a client choose a "rented ads" model over hiring someone (also targeting this sub-sub-niche) who builds fully custom creatives specifically for them? What's our edge there? Are we basically lead sellers in this model, or is it more nuanced? Thanks in advance — happy to return the favor once I figure this out! šŸ˜„

Hey @Cedric Janssens! If you’re running an agency, then your clients will be paying for their own ad spend. For daily ad spend, the easiest way to figure this out if starting brand new is to actually use a Google tool. This video will help you figure this out. The entire video walks you through how to read your key ad metrics, but at about minute 5 (when Jacob pops in) he walk you through how to figure this out: https://youtu.be/epvfyT8vwYU?si=hhCX9hqgZtqAIiJl For you sub niche question, there’s a lot of ways to look at this, but here’s one angle: when an ad is tested over and over and fine tuned as a result of yhe testing, you gain real insight into if that ad actually works or not. It’s tested and proven. A brand new ad requires testing and time. It’s also ready right away, which means you can launch ads as soon as you want. It’s almost like asking for a car specific for your needs, verses purchasing one that’s mass produced. Why bother with possible issues and waisted time when there’s a vehicle ready right then and there.
UpHex Plans
DO all the plans come with the same amount of Templates. Starting with the FREE plan. I am still in the trial phase but looking to end it and get a paid plan ASAP if the benefits are worth it. Also What are EZ pages?

Hey @Terence Douglas - In addition to the prebuilt library, you can create as many templates as you want on any plan. The limit per plan is the amount of clients you have. That way you can upgrade your agency as you grow. You can create from scratch or use AI to help you build a template. Cheers!
The power of follow up
Follow up is so important even if someone doesn't seem too keen on speaking with you. An automated message fired off even though he had told me he was on vacation, so he crashed out a little. I decided to message him anyway just now and this is the response I got. Had I just left him alone, it would have ended with that last exchange. Now we have a call set up for next week.

@Fred Lescano Solid share! Thank you! So many people get frightened to follow up because they're worried about making people upset (which can happen). But if you're spending money on getting leads, you have got to follow up with them too. 7-15 "touches" is the average outreach that it takes to convert a lead. That's a LOT of follow up. Nice work!
Uphex down?
I signed up for a free trial yesterday. Now, when I try to go to the app, I get this page.

This is what happens when you finally understand product-market fit. Fred had been using UpHex for YEARS. He took my Agency MVP course last year. He had all the tools. All the training. All the knowledge. But he was paralyzed. Why? Because he had the same mental block that kills most agencies. He was excited about what he wanted to build… But in his excitement, skipped the most important step: Figuring out if his audience would jump out of their shoes to buy it. This is the single greatest cause of business failure. It’s a blind spot. Almost all entrepreneurs fall in love with their ideas so much… They skip product-market fit. In Week 1 of our agency build program, I teach a specific formula for finding product-market fit. It's chronological. You have to follow it in order or it doesn’t work. And when students go through it, something clicks. They commonly say things like… --------------------------------------- "You broke my brain, in a good way" -Neil or "Once you understand Week 1, you see it everywhere. It's like it was there all along, but you were blind to it." -Jarem ---------------------------------------- Fred went through that same shift. And once he did, he finally took action. Here's what he did: - He identified his exact ICP (ideal client profile) using the Week 1 formula. - He built a hyper-targeted list of B2B prospects with their personal details. - He ran Meta lead ads to that specific list. - He spent less than $20. - He used the simplest funnel possible: Lead ads > Form > SMS. That's it. He launched the campaign Saturday night. By Tuesday, he had 3 leads. He closed 2 of them immediately. Setup fee + $997/month each. The 3rd one? Closed shortly after for $2,500 setup + $997/month. Total monthly recurring revenue from his first campaign: $1,994. Return on ad spend: 9,970%. In 72 hours. Fred's response when he shared this in our community? "Why didn't I start this sooner??? lol" Now here's what I want you to understand...
