15 contributions to Personal Growth Skool
I am extremely thankful to YOU! ♥️🙏🏽
I don’t know how you guys feel about this community or Skool in general, but I can honestly say this has completely changed my life. And it’s wild to think I’ve only been here for about 3 months. Skool has changed the way I connect with people, the way I see others, the way I learn, grow, and progress. I finally found a place where we’re not judged, where people actually listen, support one another, share honestly, challenge one another with respect, and genuinely want to see one another win. A place where growth is encouraged, vulnerability is safe, and everyone understands that we’re all on our own journey, but we don’t have to walk it alone. The words below are just a few wins I’ve had from getting to know you so far, and I love this moment because this is only the beginning. There is no order of importance or preference, by the way. You also DON’T NEED TO READ IT ALL, you can skip directly to your name 😂 As we’re about to get into the topic of “communication,” I want to say this: words are extremely powerful. We’ll break that down and explain why very soon. Until then, I want to leave a note for the people who have made the biggest difference in my life here so far. @Jack Shiller - man, that IRL was only powerful because you were there. Meeting you in person was not only by coincidence, and I admire your effort to create such an amazing group and the name, I told you… The most appealing name I’ve seen. Jack, every day I wake up and show up here, I’m excited to engage with you because you’re such a positive person and a joy to be around. I admire your willpower to get out of your comfort zone and do something every day that you KNOW you don’t feel comfortable with, and that tells me where you’re going in life… success is right around the corner, brother. Moving away from your parents’ house to be here is a huge deal, and I admire you for that, too. And don’t forget, your public speaking skills are already amazing, and they’ll only get better from here.
I am extremely thankful to YOU! ♥️🙏🏽

Whoa Bruno, you've put so much much effort you've put into this post - it's amazing to see how many connections you've made in such a short amount of time. I love it! I appreciate the kind words, my friend. I'll be around much more now that I'm back down to being part-time at my day job, so I'm excited to be a bit more engaged here :)

@Bruno Militz 😁😁
First 2026 wins 🥇
Wonderful greetings from Switzerland! 😊 I wanna thank you all for making this community a success!! 🎉 I'm back on Skool for a week now, read a ton of posts & comments, and it feels like so much happened within this one month while I was on vacation. It feels like the community matured, different people engaging, it's by far not a "Bruno-one-man-show". I really liked that. Thanks to everyone for sharing, caring, being open 🥰. I wanna share as well two wins from my side - and please join. What's a win you achieved this last month or the last week? Let's take this as a preparation for the goals, raising awareness on our decisions and a first progress - or getting unstuck. #1 Personally, I see this last month as a personal transition from 2025 to 2026. We've been on an extended vacation, visiting our next destination, got clarity - just as planned. ✅ #2 One week back, I was able to catch up at Skool, going through hundreds of notifications, back on track to get my flame back. We cleaned up our house, rearranging some things to prep for the next baby and as our nanny left, we've adapted to that change too. Having this "extra" month of preparation reminded me of a quote from Martin Luther. He said, he spends every day 2h in prayer & prep for the day. When it's a busy day and he has really a lot to do, he spends for sure 4h in prayer & prep. For me it feels like this heading "now" into 2026, as this year: - I'll leave my job - We'll move 8000km to BC - 4th child - Just sorted my thoughts and counting 4 new projects/businesses I'd like to kick off - Continue with Skool & Sports - Homeschooling - ...and a few more aspects from the other key areas It still seems to be a lot, but everyday a bit more manageable. I'll count that as a win too 🎉 --- But now, I'm really eager to read some of your reflections on the past month. What are you wins? Where do you feel/see growth between Dec 31 and Jan 31?

Sounds like you've got a lot going on Matthias! Handling all that with 4 children. Or is that a 4th one to expect this year? That's quite the feat haha! Hope you'll manage okay with everything - I'd imagine it can get overwhelming if you're not careful!! Now that we're in February, I've dropped down to part-time in my day job (I went full-time for 2 months), so I've regained so much more time to work on what I care about. I have plans to make money short-term that'll allow me to quit my day job in the next few months 🤞, and I'll be building my Skool community alongside that to create a higher income, more stable future. Excited to see what this year brings - it really feels like things are ramping up for me after a recent low :)

@Matthias Schweiker Something to look forward to then! Thanks Matthias, I appreciate it :)) Amazing - good to know you’re teaching them the important stuff. Let’s get it!
Monday Inspiration: What's your level of attitude? 🤔😎
Happy Monday, everyone 😎 Quick reminder: 📅 This Wednesday at 7 pm EST, we’re hosting our community call. Please add it to your calendar. No agenda. First one back. Just a space to connect, talk about life, goals, wins, challenges, whatever’s on your mind. Come as you are. Now, let’s talk about ATTITUDE. Attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling about something or someone. And it shows up in levels. Terrible > Bad > Okay > Good > Pretty good > Great > WORLD CLASS! Sorry for the long video, I promise the story is worth the time. Both mine and Jim's (mine more important 😂). Please watch it whenever you can. That story means a lot to me, and I think there’s something powerful in it for everyone. Attitude is one of the few things we truly control. Circumstances change. People change. Plans fall apart. Weather changes. But attitude is a choice we get to make again and again. So I’m curious: > Do you remember a moment in your life where you maintained a world-class attitude, even when it wasn’t easy? Can you share that story with us? > What do you think is missing in the world right now that would help people have a better attitude toward things? I’m eager to hear your definition, your story, and your perspective. Let’s have a phenomenal week. Let’s go 💪🔥

I love this perspective! Trying to be a world-class person in general is the goal, right? Albeit impossible, but aiming for the moon and landing amongst the stars is still great. I find it hard to maintain a good attitude about things all the time, but I feel as though it's a habit that I'm steadily getting better at, and I'm learning from others how to be better! I remember being stuck on a train from Barcelona for nearly 2 hours in stale 40 degree C heat with no air con or windows, and we were packed in like sardines. Everyone was struggling, but I refused to let it get me down. I saw the positives and treated it as an experience to improving my endurance to discomfort. I'd consider that world class! :)

@Bruno Militz Thanks Bruno! To be honest, I was with 3 of my friends at the time, and as soon as we walked into the underground station, we were hit by a wall of humid, hot air. They all reacted negatively, but I wanted to make the effort to not let it affect me. I expected the train to have air con, and it was only 15 minutes until it was due to arrive, so I endured the heat. I didn't expect the train to be delayed by a further 20 minutes or take way longer to arrive at the destination when we were on it, but I made the most of the experience. It's actually one of the most memorable parts of the trip, ha!
If you had to ...
If you had to choose an animal to be for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why? I know today is about fun, but I saw this quote this morning and it stuck with me: “If you want to get warm you must stand near the fire; if you want to be wet you must get into the water. If you want joy, power, peace, eternal life, you must get close to, or even into, the thing that has them.”— C. S. Lewis Food for thought as we head into the weekend. Alright… back to fun 😎

Do I maintain my intelligence? I'd probably just be an ape or gorilla. I'd like to still have hands and feet! Then I can live a somewhat normal life :) If not, I'd also be a house cat - It'd be ideal having food, shelter, and a level of worship haha!
If you could do ANYTHING in 2026… what would you choose? 😏
Let’s pretend for a second that responsibilities, bills, and expectations don’t exist. Just for 2026… What would you do and comment why 😂

It's interesting to see most people choose to travel the world. I'm also in that group! It really shows how most people would enjoy the freedom to explore aa bit more! Travelling should be something that most people can do easily, but the world doesn't work that way, unfortunately!
