For the first time🔍part 1
Hello everyone,I hope you're all well. Today I will be sharing an analysis/breakdown I did for an classic copy piece on swipe.co an ad campaign for fina a gas station company in the early 1960's Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this🙏 It's quite long ,the copy piece is down below👇 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1N_6STln5dQBfmlz5KKMfJTdgYZukI564r0lD4kUfhK4/edit?usp=drivesdk breakdown using copy translation 🫴 Headline(play on words on "Peek AT premium pink", curiosity what is the additive of the future.) Subheadline(free and created curiosity because what Is pink air?) Positioning("an young oil company...") Unique("stacked out pink air") Excitement("we are happy") Credibility("research laboratory.." Curiosity("secret ingredient which will turn air pink") Ultra-Specific("more than 2000 final stations...May 12 1966") Customer assurance(created relief to keep customer posted) Free("a free sample") Reinforcement of headline/subhead("...like premium pink") Recognition(finals emblem)maybe they were New in the market and some people didn't know how their logo looked like. Positioning/unique("our products are just exactly good as the best") Specific Target audience/target audience awareness("give it to the kids...how many children do you have") Relief/assurance ("we'll send directions") Thank you for reading I would love to hear what you thought of this analysis/breakdown🙏

@Nabeel Azeez Ohhh I just changed it now
New call
Got a new exploratory call with someone this week. Normally I am relatively confident, but my head's all over the place lately. (Wife is on bed rest - last month pregnant; + we have a energetic toddler running around + I'm trying to kickstart my career 😅). Hopefully I won't black out. Wish me luck!

All the best !
CRITIQUE PLEASE
i watched the video for four minutes exactly and decide to write something about it. by the way the headline of the video is amazing i couldn't come up with something better than this. Treat Copywriting like a video game. Today i have watched a video of the two of the greatest copywriting coaches in our time NABEEL and Matthew explaining the concept of copywriting and how the industry works. Both of them at least has a 10 years of experience and coached over a thousand copywriters and they still practicing copywriting as we speak. They emphasized that back in the day when you want to start a copywriting business you have to go to the bank, get a loan put collateral damage, which means if you want to become a copywriter there’s a chance for you to become homeless. In today’s new age of technology, starting a new business costs you nothing. The worst thing that could happen is that you lose a client. And from their perspective it is not bad at all. Mine too obviously. Imagine when you start a service business and suddenly you lose your house because you haven’t delivered what you are supposed to deliver and the client will sue you and get the exact value that you promised him. That’s harsh. Right? You see, many copywriters take the first step with a mindset that this is a get rich quick scheme but they tend to forget that for you to be able to land a client and deliver what you promised will take you a little bit of time, you probably might say there’s AI that’s gonna do all the hardlift, you are right but Ai itself cannot craft a piece of copy that will get people to engage, click and buy. Ai can do the research even though the research that has been made with Ai is not in depth-research. It’s just a surface level research, so you can not based your copy on a surface level research. If you want people really to buy, you have to understand the motive behind the purchase. People buy with emotions and justify with logic. And Ai is not an emotional tool, it’s an analytical tool. It doesn’t matter what Ai software you are using Claude, Gemini, Chatgpt and it also doesn’t matter what premium you are in. Ai still Ai.

Nice observation especially on AI and how your mindset is shifting to make everything fun again on your journey like a video game

For the first time 🔍 part 2
This is the second part of the analysis of an ad campaign of a classic copy piece by Fina a gas station company in the early 1960's https://swiped.co/file/fina-pink-air-howard-gossage/ This is just thoughts on what I thought made it work: based on the breakdown *It was unique, free, sounded easy it didn't sound complicated. *It created reassurance in the readers promising to update them and guide them, answering questions that the readers might have had *It showed strong trend awareness and positioning - Reinforced ideas made in the headlines ne and subheadline - Sounded exciting and new while having credibility that it's safe (assurance) - Created curiosity and anticipation through something that sounded absurd pink air? - It had a specic target people who drove cars and they might be parents - It felt like a conversation. Final thoughts; Fina's pink was unique, even though the company was new to the market. They didn't present themselves as another new gas/oil company but one that keeps up with trends while working hard to showcase themselves with pink air>sounds absurd but interesting. Despite them being new to the market they assured new customers on informing them and guide them how they will use they product(sample). Pink air huh? I wonder how it looked like... Thank you for reading🙏, what did you think about this ad and analysis?

Hand Copied Ads + Copy Translation
Writing while having classical background musics makes me at peace. It feels like I'm more connected to the writer than just reading the ad. ☺️ Been a while since I've written anything in the past years. I will commit to hand copy an ad per day. I'll also add my copy translation in the next few hours. I'm just excited to post this win for the day. Consider this my day 1 post and will update this with my hand copy on a daily basis. This + Fundamentals on a daily basis. ✅ Thankful I found Copywriting Launchpad. ⭐ Here's to all of us getting better everyday, helping clients (hopefully soon!) and living our best life. 💪
