Feed optimization
How do you approach feed optimization for your clients? Curious about a few things: - Do you make changes directly in Shopify or in GMC? - How often do you optimize your feed (weekly, monthly, only when needed)? - Have you ever had GMC issues or triggered reviews after optimizing your feed?

Hey @Rob Hendry, We're checking the products from clients and then let them know and guide them on how to properly optimize the products inside Shopify - like titles, descriptions, meta fields, and all that is necessary for Google Shopping, and this is something that is done regularly. On top of that, we're performing additional feed optimization via DataFeedWatch app that is connected to both the Shopify and main feed in the GMC as a supplementary feed - where we set the rules and optimize further the titles, product highlights, and other values, such as Color, Size, Gender etc. So all the changes are done in the Shopify + DFW app, not directly in the GMC. We're checking the products and GMC's on a daily level, and we optimize when it is needed. As said above, we're setting rules inside DFW to make sure that all the current and new products that enter the feed are properly optimized - for all those that are not affected by the rules, we're fixing them additionally when they show up. Regarding the GMC issues after the optimization, yes, we had cases where specific keywords were used to enrich the titles like Premium Quality, Top Quality etc., which Google doesn't like in general, so we're avoiding them. Other than that, feed optimization is quite safe if done properly.
Feed
If I optimize my feed in Simprosys, for example by adjusting the title for shopping ads, do I have to press “Sync” again, or is it adjusted automatically?

Hey @Shemar Santana, yes, always sync after you make a change to push the changes immediately to the GMC. Otherwise, it will be included in the next scheduled daily auto update.

Simproysis vs wetracked tracking
@Christopher Krassnig - from your experience, is simproysis tracking very good? - Is it good enough or should we all be using a tracking platform like wetracked?

Hey @Charlie Jacques, hope all is well. Feed tools tracking, like those from Simprosys and Google&Youtube are not accurate or stable. So always better to stick with the actual Tracking tools like Track Bee or Wetracked. WeTracked even more reliable compared to TrackBee as it is more cost-effective and stable recently.
