Still trying to understand your ADHD?
Happy Friday, my Thriving friends! I was DM-ing with one of our members about this, and I thought you might find it helpful as well. 🔴 If you're trying to understand your ADHD better, I invite you to watch this. This is a podcast interview I did a year ago with a wonderful journalist...also named Katherine🥰...specifically Katherine Ellison, a Pulitzer Prized-Winning Journalist who has ADHD herself. I was honored to be interviewed by someone like her in support of a non-profit organization called FindtheADHDgirls. Their mission is to help girls with ADHD get identified and supported before age 8. When you have 27 minutes, watch it at 1.5x speed (to save time) (I do that, too!). What you'll get from the personal stories I share in this podcast: 1. "Odd" feelings and symptoms of ADHD and Depression 2. The deeper meaning behind "hitting a wall" with your lack of diagnosis late in life 3. The connection between ADHD and female hormones, menstruation, perimenopause, menopause, and other drastic hormonal changes in a female's life cycle After you watch it, I'd love to know what resonated with you. I wish you all a phenomenal weekend! As always, I appreciate you. 🙏 P.S. I'm a professional speaker. If you know any Skool communities that might want to hear my stories, please let them or me know. Reframing the global conversation toward compassion, starting with mental health and ADHD is my mission. Thank you in advance for thinking of me. 🥰

Powerful message! Thanks for sharing! 🙏
Where do you find it easier to invest: your kids or yourself?
Hi, my thriving friends! A recent conversation in the community got me thinking… I’ve been noticing something beautiful: 👉 So many of us are intentionally investing time and energy into helping our kids grow—especially soft skills like emotional intelligence (EQ) and social intelligence (SQ). That matters. And it shows how much we care about the kind of humans we’re raising. 🥰 At the same time, it made me pause and reflect…🤔 How do we personally decide where to invest—our kids, ourselves, or both (in different seasons)? And most importantly, the WHY behind our decision. So, I asked ChatGPT that question. 😆 ❓"Why do moms tend to invest in their kids' personal development but not in themselves?" Its responses are reflected in the polls below. Curious, do you agree? Which ones? Comment not from a place of pressure. Not from a “should.” Just honest reflection. No right or wrong answers. You're safe here. 🥰

@Katherine Lizardo the major thing would be my interest in women empowerment and issues which is my advocacy ever since I was in university. It took a backseat because I focused on building my business analysis career and building my family/raising my kids while building a life in Canada. Now, it informs my community involvement and business focus. 😊 I’m glad you managed to incorporate your interests with your business. That’s actually both my intent and what I’m challenged with as well in terms of incorporating my various interests with building my business. 😅

@Katherine Lizardo yes, that’s my big dream. I’m starting with mentoring and looking at both micro and macro view of life and understanding how to help women find success and fulfillment in different dimensions of life (not only focusing on one).
