Here’s the March Daily Chi Accountability Thread. This is a supportive space to show up for your practice, build consistency, and move together as a community. Whether you joined a live session, practiced along with YouTube inside the community, or completed a self-paced course, it all counts. What matters most is that you showed up. This thread will stay pinned for daily check-ins, connection, and encouragement. ✅ How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, post a short check-in using these four steps: 1️⃣ Intention What did you want to focus on or cultivate today? 2️⃣ Practice What practice did you do today? Live session, YouTube, or self-paced are all welcome. 3️⃣ After How do you feel after completing your practice? One short sentence is perfect. 4️⃣ Visual Share a photo or short video of your practice, your screen, or your setup. ✨ Sample Check-In Intention: To slow down and reconnect with my breath Practice: Live Session 12-21-2025 After: Feeling grounded, calm, and present Photo or video attached There’s no right or wrong way to participate here. Show up in a way that feels good to you, support others when you can, and enjoy the process. One day. One breath. One practice.

This week’s conclusion. Throughout the week and last week, I’ve been experiencing pain in both sides of my torso and lower back. Consequently, I took a break from Bagua and Xinyi this week. I’m feeling significantly better now. Additionally, I’ve incorporated walking into my daily workout routine, and my energy levels throughout the day have improved. Stay rooted and everyone enjoy your day and weekend.

Today, I went to the park to practice Qi Gong, Tai Chi Forms, and Tai Chi Sword forms with my peers and Tai Chi Instructor. Before class, I felt relaxed and calm. After class, I felt even more relaxed, and my body felt much looser.

I’m not sure if this is an updated version of the video.
Taijiquan Explained by Jet Li
If you have a spare 45 minutes, below (in my opinion) is a fascinating chat between Jet Li and his daughter about Tai Chi. I really like how he describes the three levels of form, energy and mind. He is also very keen that Tai Chi doesn't get commercialised. He also acknowledges that though he isn't an expert in Tai Chi he really loves it.

It was cool to listen to Jet Li talk about Kung Fu and about his movies. Also I didn’t know that March 21 is international Tai Chi Day.

@Patrick Cunningham I trained Wing Chun and learned Yang 24 Tai Chi in the 90s. I just started back training in Kung Fu a couple of years ago. I finished learning Sun Style Tai Chi Form and relearned Yang 24 Tai Chi Form. I am still working on Xing Yi 5 element, I started working on Sun style Bagua this year and really enjoy Bagua body movements. I still practice the first form of Wing Chun. So much to learn but I enjoy the process.

This week I caught a cold and couldn’t practice every day. Wasn’t fun at all. But once I started feeling better, I got back to it—did some Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and a little Bagua. Being sick sucks, but getting back to practice felt really good. Happy to be moving again. Have a nice weekend everyone, stay rooted 🌱
