Day 3 — Finding My Rhythm & Dialing in Nutrition
Took it a little easier on the run today but still got it done: 🏃‍♂️ 2.23 mi | 30:19 total | Avg HR 131 bpm | Effort 5/10 💪 50 min workout | 617 active cal | HR avg 110 bpm — moderate but still challenging. At the Culver City Stairs I went up and down the stairs without stopping. My personal best, but wasn’t too difficult. Moderate Effort of a 6 I would say which is exciting. First time going up the stairs 3X without stopping — big win 🎉 💧 Hit my water goal (12 cups). 🍎 Nutrition: Stuck to my diet but went 340 cal over to hit macros. Biggest learning — I need to watch carbs more closely. Also can’t go over 900 cal in one meal (today breakfast hit 1,153 😅). - Carbs: 391g (114g over target) - Protein: 190g (7g left) - Fat: 82g (4g over) Still proud I tracked and stayed aware — food grade: A- but with room to tighten up. Overall: Progress isn’t perfect, but I’m figuring out my sweet spot. On to Day 4 🔥💪🏾

Day 4 - almost fully adjusted to Intermittent Fasting
It takes a few days for me to adjust to a new diet (intermittent fasting). Day 2 and Day 3 sucked. Day 4 was much better. Tomorrow morning I will have the ultimate test: 270 Burpees livestream and 75min yoga sculpt class before having a meal 🫡. Wish me luck!

🔥🔥 270 burpees + 75 min yoga fasted?! That’s next-level grind — go crush it, Richard! 💪🏾🚀
Friday reminder
Weekends are where most people drift. They think they’ve “earned” the break. Truth? Every day you’re either moving closer to your goal, or further away. Consistency compounds. Day by day. Choice by choice. You already wrote down your vision on Day 0. Don’t forget it. Trust the process. Let’s get after it.

Love this! 🙌🏾 With this challenge I am starting a simple rule for weekends: do my workout BEFORE any plans/errands. If it’s done early, I’m already winning no matter what the rest of the day throws at me 💪🏾🔥.

@Cyrus Washington I’ve found if I knock out 1–2 big bottles early in the morning (before workouts or while getting ready), it takes the pressure off the rest of the day so I’m not playing catch-up at night. Another thing that’s helped me with water is pairing it with another habit — like I drink a full glass every time I brush my teeth or after I use the bathroom. I don’t have to think about it; it just becomes automatic. Keep it up Cyrus! 💪🏾
Day 4 - Yoga sesh & more
Highlight of my day was attending a much needed Yoga class. Haven’t been in a bit and let me tell you my muscles felt it in all the right ways. The perks of having things close to me is that it motivates me to run there and back rather than use my car. Overall a very productive day. Hoping to lock in some quality sleep tonight. Almost forgot to mention I did 100 pushups on my run to yoga with the GOAT DHT365.
