I kept my fmd to below 700 calories. I was about 3-400 day 1 and 2. Today, I ended up close to that 700 though. I'm going to extend 2 more days because I can feel my body needing to reset still. It does love the kombucha and increased fermented foods I'm adding in more of!! What I've noticed: I started to get bloated daily about a week before going on FMD and that's totally gone. Water retention is improved and my face is more slender and not puffy. I lost less than a pound (it's only 3 days and I'm not doing it for that), but I look more shapely in all my areas. Inflammation in my elbows started to increase, but past 2 nights is back down and my sleep has been back to amazing!! And finally: I'm getting shit done! More laser focus and clarity helped me move through system setups I've been doing a lot smoother than it has been AND I still had time to play Legos and read Dr Suess books!

How are you letting people in your household know your intention and goal for this week’s challenge? Curious how you’re bringing others in—or if that feels tricky for you too. Any tips or ways that are working for you?

@Lynn Beck my husband and kids will partake if I am making juice and offer it (after me saying how delicious it is!) But they won't try it on their own, even if they like it. Bonus if I add a tiny bit of honey.

@Lynn Beck no not really. But when he has gut issues he temporarily gets mildly curious. So it is more like I made something and if I pour it and hold their hand, they will happily drink it or eat it. i don't try to impose it, I just offer. That's short term. Long term, I started cooking more Ayurvedically over the years (5 so far).... gradually his taste preferences have changed. From oreos and milk at night to he can't stand the taste of the oreos because they taste too processed to him and "something just tastes off".

I am excited to release some gas and bloating I've had since a final Colonic I had a month ago (so rebalancing my microbiome!!). I'm also feeling some inflammation in my elbow joints I look forward to improving!
