Ideas on getting cigarette smell out of a leather jacket?
I bought a leather jacket on eBay. The jacket itself is in really good condition and fits great. The problem is that the previous owner was a smoker (and I can tell he was right handed). It is not awful, but I can tell. I used a leather cleaner on it tonight with a new white rag. To my surprise the rag is still very white, like nothing came off the jacket at all. I did clean it twice. The jacket still smells. Actually a little bit more now since it was dampened. I have it drying/airing out in a spare bedroom with a fan. Any thoughts on what might cut the odor, or is it just time? Thanks in advance.
Seasonal hair grooming
During high school, I had a teacher that had a seasonal hairstyle ritual: In the hotter months, he would shave bald, and once it started getting colder, he'd grow his hair & facial hair out, repeating this ritual for all of my 4 years of high school. To me it seems logical, given the hot climate of where I live, and I've adopted it for this summer season. Does anyone else have their own "seasonal" hair rituals?

I keep the same basic style all year. But I do get it cut a little shorter and more often in the summer than in the winter.

I second Peter Manning and Ash & Arie. I have been happy with the quality of both their products.
Boadicea The Victorious
Boadicea The Victorious is a niche luxury fragrance based in the UK. I've gotten a few samples of their colognes and they are very high quality, but very expensive. Another reason I am asking is that there are too many choices from which to select -- BTV has more than 150 fragrances (active and recently discontinued), which makes it difficult to focus on which ones to consider. Has anyone on RMRS had any experience with BTV? If so, what are some recommendations?

Yes, high quality and price point. My two favorites are Energizer (citrus) and Britannia (like Penhaligon's Sartorial).
A shirt for height impaired
I decided to buy a shirt from one of the companies I found the tailor towards us height impaired guys, Ash & Erie. It’s a mock turtleneck which means it’s not a sweater. It’s super soft and a bit heavier than most of my T-shirts. It states extra fine merino wool. I’m 5’6” and I have a bit of the beer gut; not too big but big enough where I need to buy XL to be fit comfortably. For the record, I’m down a few pounds but not down to a large yet. The shirt fits well BUT I would prefer just a little longer length; about 1” or maybe 2” even. The sleeve length is great. I paired it with an old off the rack jacket I bought about 20 years ago. Here is a link to the shirt/website https://ashanderie.com/products/dark-navy-mock-neck-sweater
