Rejuvenation Qigong
Just did the Rejuvenation Qigong in the Daily Qi category. Wow. When Sonny described part of a movement as the body lifting the palm, it completely changed my focus and how I felt. I had just been raising my hand but that little extra instruction shifted my focus enough that it engaged more muscles than just 'raising my hand'. Really enjoying the community and the classes. Grateful for the input and support of others and the subtle insights from Sonny that make his teaching unique and effective. My body feels like it's exercised but I don't feel fatigued. I've read the progress of others and now feel like I'm getting a taste of it myself. Thanks to all who share and encouragement to all of those who are working through the journey at their own pace.
Subtle Change
David must be rubbing off on me because I'm starting to notice the changes in myself just as he's shared. My observations are not quite as revelatory as his have been but I did notice something this morning that's a significant shift for me. As I've mentioned before, I'm an accountant and live in a world of rules and standard procedures so even though Sonny always encourages us to make the practice our own, I always focus on his movements and try my best to replicate them exactly. Today, I watched the move and then closed my eyes as I repeated the motion until he indicated that he was transitioning to a different movement. It was not intentional on my part, I just closed my eyes and did the move. I realize that's not an earth-shattering leap forward but I do think it goes to show you how our outlooks can shift even in subtle ways that we might not be noticing because we're looking for the seismic shift instead of recognizing the slight tremor.

THE CHANGES ARE WONDERFUL
The meny CHANGES that I have noticed in myself are astonishing to say the least My sleep as improved ,,, i sleep deeper ,, I awake more rested with a much better attitude or perspective more positive expectations ,,, with a better assist assessment about myself and about my day ahead ,,, I JUST FEEL BETTER AND IN MORE CONTROL OF MY LIFE ,, AND MY CHOICES REFLECT THAT ,,, "I'LL MAKE TIME TO DO SOMETHING QI THIS MORNING" "I WILL MAKE TIME FOR MYSELF THIS MORNING" And that SIMPLE CHOICE has ,, IS having an IMPACT on my whole life !! The way I view myself ,,view others ,,, choices I make though out the rest of the day ,,,,, Not becoming more SELFCENTERED BUT SELF- AWARE ,,, 🤔 🤔 MORE ATTUNED TO THE NEEDS OF MY BODY AND MY MIND !! I FEEL BETTER ,, I MAKE BETTER CHOICES ,, I TREAT MYSELF BETTER ,,, I TREAT OTHERS AROUND ME BETTER !! IT'S A WIN/WIN FOR LIFE !! DO SOMETHING QI TODAY !!! SOMETHING WONDERFUL WILL HAPPEN !!

So true. November is my busy season at work and many days I found myself focused on the tasks and deadlines and did not take the time to pause and go through a class or a lesson on here. I could definitely tell the difference from missing even a few days. I have to stop thinking of this as item on my list to accomplish and mark off the list. I need to define myself as the kind of person the practices daily (just like I'm the kind of person that eats daily - I don't put that on my checklist for the day) and not as someone who just practices if it's convenient because there will always be excuses and obstacles if I want them.
