I just got off of a phone call with Flippa. I have a brand they are interested in selling for me. Not sure if I want to, or not. It was an interesting call and one that went in a 100% different direction than I anticipated. At the end of the call I asked Stephanie what I could help her do to sell more businesses and/or get new listings. She was visually taken aback when I asked that question, because I am guessing most everyone she talks to has the "Gimme. Gimme. Gimmeeee." attitude. She got this big smile on her face and started telling me her pain points. At this point I realized I was now on a coffee date... I now turned into a listener and question asker. Not looking for anything. Looking to serve and to help. However, if I did see an OPPORTUNITY to help them make more sales, I was most certainly open to that.
