Start up process question
I'm going to use Bizee to file my LLC paperwork. Once of the options includes a business phone number, domain and email address. What have you (community) done? Did you opt for the package or bring in these services A La Carte? I like the idea of a package but only if it's compatible with the foundation I'll create through Jobber. TYIA David

Facebook Ads just launched!
I just launched my first real FB ad campaing. Prior to today I had only boosted posts before. The campaign is based on what I learned from watching the OWNROPS Facebook Flywheel video. Here's one of the 3 ads I'm running now: https://fb.me/adspreview/facebook/1Sv23uk6k80LcL3 Fill out the Instant Form if you have a second, you'll be helping me test the backend :-) Additional things I learned in the process of making these ads and getting the campaign going: - There are far too many ad formats on FB/IG, some with very different effects on your ad video - If you're only going to use one video resolution make it 1440x1800 as that will work with all of the FB/IG ad formats - Text placement in your video matters a lot. Some of the formats cover up lower and upper parts of your video and you don't want it to interfere with your video text. - I need a somewhat nicer microphone for recording voiceovers, my phone did not do a very nice job and I spent tons of time trying to make it sound better. - Test your sound out on a desktop but also on a phone, different speakers can have very different sound qualities - You can easily send your incoming leads into a Google Sheet, I find this very useful since I use Sheets as the basis for my customer tracking. - There is no built-in notification system for incoming leads from the Instant Forms! I kinda found this shocking. It's meant to plug into a CRM of some sort. I still need to sort out what I want to do about this. (Yes I know, zapier/jobber/copilot/etc) :)

FB Ad Report — Real Numbers From a Simple Meta Campaign
Wanted to show you actual numbers from a real Meta campaign we just ran in a brand new market for forestry mulching services. No crazy funnel: - One simple video ad (shot on iPhone) - Clear offer: “Forestry mulching & brush clearing for overgrown Texas land” - Lead form → phone call → estimate → job. Reporting period: Feb 3 – Feb 12, 2026 Here’s what happened: - Ad spend: $475 - Total leads: 19 - Average cost per lead (CPL): $25.00 - Average leads per active day: ~2 leads/day - Best day CPL: $15.92 (Feb 10) - Best lead days: Feb 9 & 10 (3 leads each) Engagement: - CTR: ~1.5–2.8% (healthy for local service) - Frequency: 1.1–1.3 (no audience burnout) - Reach increased on stronger days – momentum building Best‑performing creative: - Creative type: Video (simple, shot on iPhone) - Leads from this single video: 10 - Spend on that video: $203.30 - This ONE video is pulling the bulk of results. We also only used about half of the budget capacity we could have. There is clear room to scale. Why This Matters for You If you’re running land‑clearing / forestry mulching and still living off: - Random referrals - Facebook groups - Neighbors “maybe someday”… …this should tell you a few things: 1. Facebook/Instagram absolutely work for forestry mulching when the offer is clear. 2. You don’t need fancy funnels – just: A straight ad A clean lead form A real phone call and estimating process. At $25/lead and ~2 leads/day, this is a predictable tap you can turn up or down. The ONLY questions that matter from here: - How many of these 19 leads turn into estimates? - How many estimates turn into jobs? - What’s the average job value and margin? That’s exactly what we’re going to track next using the pipeline + pricing + estimating system we give you in the Kickstarter Training If you want me to: - Break down the exact ad and copy - Show you the lead form we used - And walk you through how we used a crew‑day rate + estimating checklist to price these leads correctly (so they’re actually profitable)

Newbie
HI everyone, I'm David Kline and I run Debris Solutions 4 U in South West Va, the New River Valley. Debris Solutions is a small, more like hobby business to help people clear Debris from their world whether it be tree and brush clearing, small building removal, home or business move out trash removal I'm excited to join a group of likeminded people with a process or plan supporting us. Frankly I'm looking for all kinds of help from this group, equipment recommendations ( I want to add a mulcher system and focus the business on land clearing), marketing structure and process development, an occasional kick in the ass. I want to grow this into a real business that isn't waiting for the phone to "hopefully" ring. I don't know what I can offer yet but maybe someday I can return the favor to someone else in my position
