Hi @Sondra Goebel , I'll have them maybe once a week. I like it with vanilla, fresh grated ginger or ginger juice, cardamom, and sometimes a little cinnamon. You can sweeten with either chopped dates mixed in or a tiny bit of maple syrup.

Primal Ayurveda Challenge Strategy - Think on a continuum
I found this inspiring at this start of the Primal Ayurveda Challenge. As we play and experiment with practices that are not habits...practices that are not engrained. Heck - we may not even know how this practice makes us feel. Just like a plow doesn't always break the ground deeply in the first pass, it takes time to develop a habit. So, one strategy is to embrace continuum thinking. Continuum thinking is understanding at one end there is not doing the action (doing nothing) and at the opposite end is doing the action perfectly (the right duration, intensity, place, etc) and seeing that there are a lot of options in between those two ends of the continuum that add value, energy and wellness. The opposite of continuum thinking is all or nothing thinking or "cognitive distortion" which is irrational thought patterns that skew your perceptions, hinder your progress and make you miserable. The Primal Ayurveda Challenge is all about upskilling your walk in this life. Somewhere along the continuum is better than nothing!

Wow. This was powerful — thank you @Cate Stillman for sharing such a brave journey. I truly believe in the healing power of fasting and how the body, when supported properly, becomes its own remedy. I like how the coach and Dr. explained the benefits of fasting too. That said, I found myself wondering about the movement and breath components. Aside from one breathwork session, there didn’t seem to be much physical movement shown — not even gentle stretching or additional breath practices. I understand that with an intense fast, heavy exertion isn’t appropriate, but I was curious whether these elements were part of the experience? Any thoughts?
Getting Back into Hanging - Thanks to the Challenge!
I added hanging on the bar back into my daily rhythm thanks to the challenge. Looking forward to making it more of a habit! It’s set up right on the stairwell I pass through several times a day. Check out my quick video to see my set-up! 👉 Who else got inspired to hang? 👉 How often do you get off your feet and onto a bar?
