Day 2: Taste of Novelty 🥪
You guys don't know me enough, but I love trying new food even if it ends up being just okay. I absolutely love sandwiches, and probably could survive on them. (Fun fact though... When I add up all the days together, I end up eating more vegan type diet for about half the year because of church fasting periods, but today meat was involved) Yesterday when I went to the store I purchased a few things that I haven't tried before 1-people always talk about how good sprouts are for them, so I decided to try some 2- I've had tuna before, but I don't think I've had yellowfin tuna fillets like that before 3-I'm trying a bread that's in theory considered healthier 4-and that's a farm fresh egg. I've had those before, but not in a long time because we get our eggs from the store usually I made myself a sandwich (bread, cheese, egg, turkey and ham, sprouts) and put some tuna on the side for some extra protein. Love to the crunch of the sprouts. They seem to have kind of a grassy type taste which was fine because it was balanced out by everything else in there. The tuna was pretty good, but although it was in some kind of oil, it still felt a little bit dry. Not bad though. The bread had textures because of the seeds and I enjoy textures like that.. I appreciate crunches. Maybe I'll add some fun nutritional facts in the comments if I'm feeling spicy :-)
