Day 5: Stranger Exchange
Hello lovelies! :) Went to get myself some running shoes today and asked the person helping me what their goal is for this year and they said "to run a marathon". That's 26.2 miles! I followed up with additional questions--past running experience/current training schedule/how they're feeling about it. :) Even though I consider myself an introvert (Between 4a.m. and 6a.m. I'm chilling and just journaling/reading/quiet time), I don't have issues talking to strangers and so this didn't feel to out of my comfort zone. I may start asking people this question more often though. I usually start off with lighter questions and then go into more if they're open. It's funny because I used to think that I was superr duper introverted but it turns out that I was just anxious in the past--so I wouldn't speak up at all and would just avoid any kind of conversation. Turns out that I enjoy connection and while I'm still introverted, I'm very social. :)
day 7: tourist
Went into my basement and looked around. I really should use that space more--we have a ping pong table, some decent gym equipment and a decent amount of space. It's just dark. My intention for the upcoming week: get more information on a prison ministry situation and see what i'd like to do. :)

Day 5 Update!
Day 4 of the adventure challengeโœ…
Today I did the analog hour๐Ÿฅณ I left my phone at home, brought a notebook and a pen and sat on a random bench. First, while I was walking to it, I saw a man running out of the shopping mall carrying something and the security chasing him and that was the first time I saw robbery in action๐Ÿคฃ Felt interesting to share๐Ÿคฃ Then I sat on a bench, it's not cold today, the sun is out, it was amazing to sit there. I just watched people passing by for the first 10 minutes and I felt amazing. So calm and peaceful. Then I wrote my thoughts and emotions in my notebook, that took 10 minutes too and it really helped me figure out what I'm feeling and how to deal with it. I sat a little more and then I went home. I felt the need to not touch my phone at all when I got back because I felt free without it. So this just made me realise, one more time, I want to have offline hours almost every day. And that's what I'm gonna implement into my routine. Today's challenge was beautiful and so insightful. Thank you for this @Arthur Maddocks-Brown
Day 3- Analog Hour โฐ
I really enjoy journaling and I felt kind of meh this morning so doing this was beneficial on multiple levels. It felt good to brain dump. I also did some journaling for another group too, so kind of hits two challenges at once :-) Because it's cold, I didn't go out in nature, but the house was completely quiet and this is the table that I always say I want to sit and write and then I never do because I get distracted with other things. It was really nice to set this time aside :-) Had some friendly visitors and the cat also decided to join
