Day 2 of Vibration Plate
So, I have a bad habit of going balls out on a lot of things. That’s exactly what I did yesterday. I didn’t start at beginner level, I started at medium hard. It felt great! 25 minutes, that’s all. Then I went to town on cleaning the house. 3 hours later, the truth hit me hard! I’m at the store and my hips, pelvis and lower back are starting to ache like I had just given birth! I sadly hobbled out to my car and drove straight home. Yep, I have learned my lesson, don’t get ā€˜knocked up’ by the vibe plate. Today I will just sit on it and listen to the breath work video. Tomorrow is a new day, and I will start on beginner’s level!

Oh goodness 😳 I seriously thought about adding in my comment on Day 1...go slow 🐌 but then I was like....she said she was reading the manual...surely it says don't go balls out šŸ˜†šŸ¤£ Love your attitude and yes, tomorrow is a new day and beginners level is a great place to startšŸ˜‰. Keep going my friend. ā¤ļø but maybe not all balls in 🫠😁

I am aware I have a complicated relationship wth food. When its planned, it's healthy, clean and balanced. When it's not planned or I feel stressed/overwhelmed. It can get messy, especially if I am emotionally eating. šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø Just give me beef jerky, salty chips and leave me alone. šŸ˜† I feel at my best when I am fasting...it's like a reset emotionally and physically and when I break my fast, I want to eat small and clean or as you would say for fuel. I just feel awesome. My goal this year is to really find balance and peace with food. My son is at the age...he is watching me 🧐 and I want to set healthy habits for him. Sorry, I don't know how to be short and simple in my answers. 😁

I was warm and cozy in bed this morning but I got up! Because I knew I would feel better afterwards and creates an awesome beginning of my day. This morning I did 10min yoga, 10 min weights (arms),5 min lymphatic, 10 min sauna. I don't have a plan yet except do something Monday thru Friday. :) Have a great day!

Real Talk: I thought I posted this 10 hours ago...
t is 5:30 PM on a Friday. I could have sworn I hit "Post" on this at 7:00 AM. Turns out, the day grabbed me before I could hit the button. I think that’s fitting. The grind doesn't always go according to schedule. But the message is too important to skip, even if it’s late. Cookie (in the post below) doesn't care about my schedule. She doesn't care that I'm tired. She doesn't care that I'm busy. She just knows: It's time for Dad to come home. I promised I'd introduce you to my crew. This is my why: → Colleen — Together since '97. Now works from home helping me run multiple businesses. She's seen every version of me. (And catches me sweet-talking the dog in 4K). → Spencer — 25 years old. Teaching most of the classes at the academy now. Watching your kid run the mat you built hits different. → Sammi — Graduating college in May. So proud of her. She's my twin. → Cookie — The accountability partner who never lets me skip a day. Hello! This is the most recent pic I found of all of us :) My name is Dana. My why are my boys, which are my everything. Met my husband, Justin in Dec 2005. 20 years of adventures and so many memories. 2015 was our greatest year bringing our son, StarZen into the world. My husband is a little bit of everything rolled into one. He is loving, patient, kind, wise and makes me laugh. He is my love, my partner and best friend. Our son is loving, kind, smart and very witty. It's been an honor to be his mama. Spicy is our awesome family cat that survived our old farm and moved to the city with us. I would say he is my husband's best friend 😊 I love us.
