A Little "Proud Momma" Brag Post! 🧶✨
As a crochet artist—and especially as a teacher in my local community —the question I get asked most is: "Do your kids crochet, too?" The short answer? Yes! But the "mom" answer? I let them find their own rhythm. While all my kiddos have mastered the basics (we’ve made a lot of chains in this house!), I’ve always had a rule: If they aren’t feeling the spark, I don’t push the hook. Creativity should feel like a playground, not a chore! But today, my "Crochet Momma" heart is absolutely bursting. My oldest first picked up a hook 16 years ago. What started as tiny, super-tightly woven granny squares has evolved into something truly breathtaking. From stunning wearables to intricate earrings and everything in between, seeing their growth and artistic eye develop has been such a gift. It’s a beautiful reminder that when we plant those seeds of creativity—and give them plenty of room to grow—they eventually bloom into something spectacular. 🌸 Tell me in the comments: Have you passed your craft down to your kids or grandkids? Or are you the "First Generation" maker in your family? 👇

I can’t wait to post pics when I’m finally done the top :)
What was your "Stitch of the Year"? 🧶✨
We are officially in that "limbo week" between Christmas and New Year. Before we rush into 2026 goals, let’s look back! I want to see what you’re most proud of from this past year. Was it a massive blanket you finally finished? A gift that made someone cry? Or maybe just finally mastering the magic ring? One of my favorite makes of the year was Laila's temperature blanket. It is weighted with beads a pretty dang large! Drop a photo of your favorite 2025 project in the comments below!

This was my favorite make of 2025, really easy scrap yarn project to get motivated when projects were staying on forever lol
START HERE: Your First 24 Hours in the Sanctuary 🕊️🧶
Welcome home! You made it. Take a second to just exhale. You’ve officially entered a "No-Hustle Zone." Whether you’re here to tackle anxiety, find a creative spark, or you just want a hobby that doesn't involve a glowing screen, we are so glad you’re here. In the Sanctuary, we aren’t just learning to make knots; we’re learning a new language of relaxation. To help you get settled without the "new group" jitters, here is your 4-step map for your first day: Step 1: Learn the "Sanctuary Roadmap" 🗺️ Before you dive into the stitches, head over to the Classroom and open the module: "Your Journey from Deep Inhale to Sanctuary Master." This is your guide to how we grow here. You'll see our 9 Levels—from Knot Nervous to Yarn Sage—and the specific courses you unlock at each milestone. Step 2: The Point System (Creative Karma) 📈 In the Sanctuary, we reward kindness and engagement. 1 Like = 1 Point. * When you post or comment and a neighbor "likes" it, you earn points. You only need 5 points to reach Level 2 (Knot Nervous) and unlock your first bonus course: The 2026 Lab! Step 3: The "Meet & Greet" (The Handshake) 🤝 Head over to the Community Tab and find "The Handshake" category. This is our digital welcome mat. Pull up a chair and tell us: What’s your "why"? What are you hoping to "unravel" (like stress) while you're here? The Yarn Vibe: Is your current stash neat and tidy, or a total "yarn-nado"? The Uniform: Do you have a favorite pair of stitching pants yet? (Hard pants are strictly optional). Step 4: Grab Your Toolkit (The Classroom) 🎒 Open the folder: "The Getting Grounded Toolkit." Watch the 3-Breath Hook-Up video. It’s only 3 minutes long, but it will change the way you pick up your hook forever.
I love the changes you’re making!
🏆 Drop your "Victory Photos" here! (No project is too small)
Let’s be honest—some weeks, finishing a project feels like winning an Olympic gold medal. 🥇 Between the holiday chaos, the "frogging" (rip-it, rip-it 🐸), and the general madness of December, actually reaching the end of a skein is a total mental health win. Finishing a project isn’t just about the yarn; it’s about the dopamine hit of saying, "I did the thing!" Whether you finished a giant chunky blanket at The Makery (one of my local classes)this week, conquered a single Christmas ornament, or finally wove in the ends of a project you started in 2022... WE WANT TO SEE IT. The Rules: 1️⃣No "perfection" allowed. We love wonky stitches and "character." 2️⃣Bragging is mandatory. 3️⃣If you haven't finished a project yet, post a photo of a row you’re proud of! Now, take a second to look at what you made. You took a single string and turned it into a thing. You’re basically a magician. 🪄 Post your victory photos in the comments below so we can virtually high-five you! 👇

I don’t think I’ve finished anything this week. I just have stuff I’m working on.
Keeping track
I have been crocheting a while now and have tried so many different methods for tracking orders and projects in the space that I have, bins has been my solution. I pull the yarn, po, & pattern or notes and put them in the bin. I sort them by due date and work on them one at a time. What processes do you use to keep track?

I definitely need a better way to keep track and keep on task. Currently I really don’t have a way to keep track and everything is just in different bags, but I have gotten a couple totes for yarn and I want to maybe get three drawer bins to keep track of projects and things in progress better.
