🧶 Gentle Structure, Messy Stitches: Our New Weekly Flow
Hey Nookies 💛 Quick community spring cleaning + update! I want this to be a relaxing, fun, and educational place to hang out. But if I’m being real — my brain needs a little structural guidance or I’m off chasing every shiny ball of yarn I see 😅 So, I’m reshaping our daily flow to give us a cozy rhythm to the week. I’ve also been revamping the classroom, creating affordable tiers, and focusing on providing as much free value as possible — because I truly want this space to feel supportive, accessible, and real for everyone. Of course, we’ll always check in on challenge progress, monthly courses, and all the good stuff. That’s not changing. Here’s our new weekly flow (think gentle structure, not rigid rules): ✨ Muse Monday – Goals + inspiration for the week 🧶 Tension Check Tuesday – Where are you at? How’s that showing up in your crochet? Let’s release it together 🌿 Hump Day Grounding – Midweek reset + sensory grounding 👉 Grounding call at 1:30pm EST 🪝 Thursday Hook Up – New tips, tricks, or techniques 🐸 Frogs & Fables Friday – Messy progress, oops moments, real crochet life 🏡 Homestead Social Saturday – Get-to-know-you day 👉 Stitch Fix call at 2pm EST 🌙 Quiet Loop Sunday – Reflection + full relaxation You’re welcome to post or share any of these on any day you feel led — these are just focus guidelines for me so I don’t zigzag too hard 😄 Thanks for being here — messy stitches, real life, and all. I’m excited to grow this rhythm together 💛🧶

Day 4 Mood Stitching
Welcome to Day 4! Today we are reaching even higher. The Treble Crochet (sometimes called the Triple Crochet) is the "tallest" of the standard stitches. It creates a loose, airy, and very flexible fabric. If you’ve been feeling a little restricted or "closed in" lately, this stitch is your remedy—it’s all about expansion and letting the light through. Sorry 3 rows not 5

Hump Day Grounding: The Rhythm of the Rain 🌧️🧶
Happy Wednesday, everyone. We’ve hit the middle of the week, and if you’re like me, your "mental tabs" might be feeling a little full. It’s time for a sensory dump. Today, I’m leaning into the sound of rain. There is a reason why so many of us feel a collective "exhale" when the clouds turn grey and the pitter-patter starts on the roof. Science calls it Pink Noise—a steady, rhythmic sound that creates a flat blanket of noise, helping our brains tune out the "sharp" distractions of the world. It naturally lowers our cortisol and tells our nervous system: “It’s okay to slow down now.” Crochet is the physical version of that rainfall. 🧶The sound of your hook sliding through the yarn. 🧶The rhythm of "yarn over, pull through." 🧶The weight of the project growing in your lap. 🌧When we combine the sound of the rain with the movement of our hooks, we aren’t just making a project; we are creating a sensory sanctuary. We are realigning our busy "Wednesday brains" back into our bodies. Let’s Ground Together: 1️⃣Close your eyes for 10 seconds. Imagine the sound of a gentle spring rain. 2️⃣Take a deep breath and notice where you are holding tension (Is it your jaw? Your shoulders?). 3️⃣Pick up your hook and do just one row, matching your pace to that steady, rhythmic rain. I want to hear from you: Does the rain make you feel more creative or more restful? What is one "Hump Day" stressor you’re letting go of during our call today? ✨ Don't forget: Our Grounding Call is today at 1:30 PM EST! We’ll be leaning into these senses together. See you there!

7 Day Gratitude Hook - Day 4
Taking care of ourselves is far more important than any work we may do. What is one moment of rest, self-care, or intentional pause you will allow yourself today? I started my day with my electrolytes and sat to organize my brain for the day. When the kids woke, I reminded them of their morning "tasks" and asked for my time for me. They are quietly eating breakfast and watching PBS Kids and I feel renewed and accomplished. How does your moment recharge your 'Maker' spirit?
