So my samples of Sedley and Greenley arrived. I've worn both a few times and am ready to give you guys my thoughts. Now, imo one of these fragrances is a winner and one struck out hard unfortunately. Sedley for me was the one that came out on top. It opens up with an explosion of vibrant citrus with mint mint mint. I at first was not a fan of this combo but it grew on me. Alot of people say it smells like a bottle of Sprite, which isn't a bad thing, however I didn't get that. As it dries down it turns into a very smooth musky, woody scent that I really enjoyed. The scent profile is unique as I couldn't really compare it to anything else I own. Performance was a bit above average. Skin scent after about 7 hours for me. Still not bad for a citrus freshy. Definitely spring/summer fragrance. Next, Greenley. I don't have much to say about this one other than it was a let down. Don't get me wrong, the green apple in the opening is nice and the scent overall very clean and fresh. Again a perfect spring/summer fragrance. The performance, on the other hand, was HORRENDOUS. The weakest fragrance I've ever tested. I'm talking two hours and the smell is gone. Not a skin scent, but gone. Now I'm not sure if I got a bad sample or it was a matter of my skin chemistry. Either way as nice as this fragrance smells the performance ruined it for me. In conclusion, the lesson learned once again is to always sample fragrances before committing hundreds of dollars for a big bottle. SEDLEY, HERE I COME!
