Your body has been trying to tell you something...
Maybe not in a dramatic way or with big symptoms or obvious signals. Just quietly... A heaviness that doesn't lift after a good night's sleep. A tension that's become so normal you've stopped noticing it. A low hum of 'I'm fine' that you repeat mostly to yourself. The next few weeks, I'm exploring with you what I call the States of Rest... Five phases of human experience... oscillating states that show up in the body before they show up in our awareness. The first one is the one seen most often... It's a nervous system that's been bracing for so long it's forgotten what it feels like to land. In a few days, I will share more with you about how we experience this state. Oh right! The other thing!
So I said I had two things to share with you the other day... The second thing was this.... with Scorpio Full Moon coming in, I have been feeling... how do i say this!? A Sacred Rage... stirring. One of my friends and mentors said something along the lines of... 'rage is what shows up when your body is done negotiating your boundaries' And I feel that on a global level many of us are feeling is undercurrent of rage. I have done a lot of work over the years of feeling into what is my energy and what is the collective energy and I knew that the level of rage that has been surfacing has not been solely mine... So I am recording a Sacred Rage Yoga Nidra today I feel nervous sharing this which means, in my body... it needs to be said. I am wondering... am I the only one who feels as though they want to release this rage-y energy from their body? in a healthy way!?

I have been exercising copious amounts of rage since lets say early November 2024! When I say that yoga nidra is saving my life, its not hyperbole! 😃Every day the rage finds its way in and I do everything I can to allow it to keep moving on thru. Feel it for a moment, let it go. repeat. I am definitely picking up a lot of it from the collective consciousness and I trust that energy to move mountains. I want to use it as fuel for right action, but also not hold on to it or stuff it down. Thank you for this Sacred Rage YN!
State Four | The Dream Weaver
"I know what I'm moving toward. I can feel it. I just can't always seem to close the distance between here and there." There is a particular kind of longing that lives in this state. A reaching. A knowing-without-quite-arriving. The Vijnanamaya Kosha is the wisdom body… the layer of deeper knowing, intuition, and inner vision. When we're living from this layer, we tend to be people of great perception. You sense things. You see patterns others miss. You have a relationship with your inner life that feels real and meaningful, and there is usually a vision... of who you're becoming, of what your life could hold, that pulls at you even on the ordinary days. The Dream Weaver moves between moments of profound clarity and a subtle doubt, and this oscillation can feel disorienting if you don't understand what's actually happening. It looks like an inconsistency from the outside. But from the inside, it's the soul integrating. The vision... real. The path... real. What's needed is the kind of deep rest that lets what you already know settle into the cells of the body, so it stops being something you pursue and becomes something you simply are. When you recognize yourself as a Dream Weaver, the gap between your vision and your lived reality stops feeling like evidence that something is wrong... and starts feeling like fertile ground. Rest becomes part of the work of becoming. Each practice is an act of integration, letting your inner knowing root itself more deeply into your actual life. Every month we will explore one of these states more deeply and in the fourth state you'll feel into how to honour what you already know, how to let rest become the bridge between vision and embodied reality, and what it means to trust the pace of your own unfolding. God I love that. With so much uncertainty in the economy, I am forced to shift career aspirations. But the first time in my life, I am giving myself extra time for extreme self care and I am allowing the uncertainity to be a "gestational period", letting my dreams and desires perculate.... Making space in that fertile ground for my next move and my next project to present itself in its own time. Trusting, resting and letting go. Not always easy thing for a do-er like me!

Radiant and Dreamweaver for me! I have big questions that are looking for even bigger answers which require EXTRA rest! I know the answers are in me and Peace in Rest is how they float to the surface of my consciousness and take root in my life!

but first... this fifth state. Have you felt it? That connection to something bigger. In meditation, in prayer, in creation... moments where you weren't just living your life but moving with something through it. Co-creating. Channeling. Awake in a way most people never experience.
