The power of music!
Heavy metal and rock = Heavier weights! Invested in a pair of head phones last week as I was board of the gym music and my PBs have gone up loads this week at least 3 per session!

@Shaun Vause I would suggest in ear or over ear for the gym. I got a set of the bone conduction headphones, they weren't an expensive set. They are great for video calls, Lo-fi music but not so much for bass. Also they don't block external noise so I cant use them while running due to traffic noise, and in the gym you will get all the normal ambient noise on top of what you are listening to. At least that's my experience and there may be better quality sets out there

Now as we know I love a 'recovery session' as much as the next guy, my gym is in the process of moving to a new site on the canal in Hebden Bridge, they have released a couple of images of the recovery room with its flotation tank, cold plunge and sauna, and also the new physio space for that good old painful sports massage!!! Cannot wait! told them it needs to be open for end of August as i'll be booking my ass in there post Yorkshire 3 peaks! (failing that i'm having a spa day) have a wonderful day you amazing people

That sounds awesome! Love a Spa day 😁 I used to use the pool at Nuffield Health in Derby, probably spent more time in the spa than in the pool 😜

Reset needed
Morning all, been a mad couple of weeks, signed up to the new Bigg Reset but done sweet fa so far, still hitting the gym but trying for more volume over lifting heavy, signed up to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks with work in August so going to try and focus on that over the summer, 25st me would never of dreamt of anything like that so thats an improvement!! don't want to be left up the hill!!! had some knee niggles so want to strengthen the legs some more and work on cardio (urgh) Not much more to say other than i'll try and be more present on here and promise to start the reset today (sorry @Jamie Bigg ) have a great weekend everyone x
