Little wins for me this week, a size down in the old uniform and also a size down in my scrubs πŸ₯³πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘πŸ» Also, had to run several times on shift and wasn't out of breath πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚ so the fitness is surely on the up too πŸ₯³πŸ™ŒπŸ» Hope everyone is winning at something this week 😊

Hey hey everyone, sorry I've been so quiet on here lately. Hope everyone's doing ok? As @Jamie Bigg will tell you, my schedule is packed, so trying to get 4 weight training sessions and a big bike ride in training for my London to Amsterdam charity ride in July has been a challenge and is taking up the majority of my time. I've been really sticking to my macros, hardly having any off days to be honest - I really craved toast and butter the other day 🀣 (thrilling I know!). Daily steps are being hit too, starting the day at 5:45am with a 5k dog walk with Arlo. Made a lot of positive changes with life too - requested (and approved) to go full-time over 4 days from July, which is incredible and will really help financially. Also means I can sneak another lunchtime gym session in πŸ‘ Sadly, the car broke down, so traded it in and now my new wage will pay for the new car 🫣 But my goodness it does look pretty! The proportions in the photo are insane and too funny; I actually look small for once. Thank you to my photographer and my little love Ivar. Had a health challenge, which I'm still trying to sort out. Suspected cyst on the ovary (being a woman is so πŸ‘Œ), but we'll find out soon after some more scans and investigations - all a waiting game. Exercise-wise though, building on my kg each week unless I feel my form isn't 100%, in which case I'm perfecting that first or adding extra sets/reps in before adding more. Confidence is growing so much, I feel like the gym is my home now and feel so lost without it. I can see definition coming through on my arms and my stomach is getting flatter. Just need to build more on those πŸ‘and now I feel my form on the RDLs has improved, I'm going to start adding the kgs. Time to build that ass rack🀣 Fat loss is down, weight has remained the same and muscle mass has increased πŸ‘Œ Really looking forward to reading everyone's posts and catching up when I can. Quick question
So I'm planning on doing a weights workout either before dinner or after. What is better? Doing it before with creatine and then having pasta and protein shake after....or having my pasta, then doing the workout followed by a protein shake? Don't think I'm doing too good at building muscle and I'm wondering if it's timing of having things. Any advice very welcome please 😊

If building muscle. Carbs and protien before will fuel workout. + carbs and protien after for replenish/build/repair

picture one is me, 2 years ago miserable , and depressed not even sure why, i had not long had my first and hopefully last child, and realised i need to change and be the ROLE model he deserves. locked into gym, nutrition then the 30 day reset came along and took my training to the next level. no longer depressed, happy every day, will talk to anyone now was always anxious and shy in public too, please if anyone is feeling down or low remeber there’s always sunshine and rainbows after every rain storm. mens mental health is a big part of who i am, and will always try help anyone who feels how i did in picture one. long way to go but im finally feeling confident in my own skin πŸ’ͺ🏼
