So, my probably-ADHD brain has talked me into another challenge with my work colleagues. Nothing quite as mad as cycling from London to Amsterdam this time, but we've committed to collectively walking, running and cycling 1,000km between 7 August and 7 September to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity once again. The distance will be shared across the team, so it's definitely a challenge, but one that feels achievable. The thing is, just setting this up has already lifted my mood. I've realised I'm someone who always needs a challenge, something to focus on, and something to look forward to. Without that, I can end up feeling a bit lost. So, alongside raising money for an incredible cause, I'm hoping this gives me that little bit of purpose and momentum to carry me through each day over the next month. Wish us luck. 💜
