An observation - AI in major advertising
Today I was driving on the freeway and I saw this advertisement. I immediately recognized it as ChatGPT’s language. What do you think I noticed about this ad that made it so obviously written by ChatGPT? What are some common AI terms you’ve noticed in advertising?

Ha! I wouldn't have thought this ad was created using ChatGPT. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Happy Hump Day!
I hope everyone’s week is going well. I wanted to discuss a video with everyone. In this video, the creator is playing chess with ChatGPT, but it breaks all of the rules and even randomly spawns extra pieces. - First it places a pawn at A4, but there was already a pawn at A4 - Then it spawns a new pawn out of thin air to challenge another piece - After that, it moves the rook from the corner of the board to a spot diagonal to it, which is not a legal move Why do you think ChatGPT would do that? And how do you think you could prompt it so it doesn’t make so many incorrect and illegal moves? I’ll be releasing a video this week going over this phenomenon and how to avoid it.

What's missing from LLMs is that it has no internal models of the world as it is still very much a tremendously clever text prediction tool. So when I use it, I have to build/know the model and get AI to fill in the details per my detailed instructions.
Lesson: Stop Fighting With ChatGPT when Copywriting
The problem: When you’re copywriting, it’s easy to waste hours arguing with ChatGPT over nuance. You keep correcting it, it keeps taking you literally, and before you know it you’re pulling your hair out. It’s like trying to explain sarcasm to a calculator; It just won’t land. Try this: Instead of treating ChatGPT like a mind-reader, treat it like a drafting partner. It’s great at speed and structure. It’s weak at emotion and intuition. That’s your job. The workflow I use: 1. Make a draft: If you already know what you want to say, write it. If not, have ChatGPT give you an outline. 2. Pull out the main points: Ask ChatGPT to summarize so you don’t lose focus. 3. Pick the closest version: Choose the draft that feels 70–80% there. Don’t overthink. 4. Edit it yourself: Add the missing nuance, cut the fluff, and put it in your voice. 5. Send it back: Have ChatGPT polish grammar, flow, or suggest alternatives. 6. Repeat until done: Two or three passes usually gets you to a clean final draft. Key takeaway: You are the writer. ChatGPT is the tool. Don’t argue with it on nuance, that’s your role. Use it for speed, clarity, and structure, then layer in your human voice. šŸ‘‰Next time you write, try this workflow. Where do you notice ChatGPT speeding things up? And where do you still need your own touch?

Thanks for this! I use LLMs a lot for text creation and editing. What I would love is if you can give an example or 2 to show how ChatGPT missed the nuance because I think you have some deep points to make which I'm missing.
Happy hump day!
Good afternoon everyone! I hope your week has been going well. I’m currently working on the written portion for module 1 and have part of it uploaded, so go check it out when you get the chance. In the meantime, what is one task AI could help you speed up this week? Did you use AI for it? If so, what tool? If not, what stopped you?

@Lorena Stanley Tambini Your Goals prompt sounds fascinating! I'd love to know more if you're willing to share. I'd be very interested to see how you use the system to keep you accountable.

@Lorena Stanley Tambini Thanks for this. I understand your process much better now. Please can you tell me more about number 4? How does Chat keep you accountable? Do you agree, say, a task like 2 outbound calls a day, and it issues a reminder each day, then you report back to Chat that you've done them? Then at the end of the week do you say that, of 7 items on a To Do List you did all but tasks 5 and 6? If I may ask, what is a brutal truth that it pointed out to you? eg you avoid certain tasks, or put them off until later in the day? Maybe some of the above says more about me and what goes on in your head than mine! 😊
Thank You for Being Here šŸ™
I just want to take a moment to thank each of you for joining me at the very beginning of this journey. Right now there isn’t much content here, and that makes it even more special that you chose to be part of it anyway. You are the founding crew. The ones who get to shape what this community becomes. Every comment, every idea, every bit of feedback you share helps set the direction. Later on, this space will grow and fill with resources, discussions, and new people. But no matter how big it gets, I’ll always remember this first group who showed up when there was nothing but an idea. This group focuses on a concept called human centric human-AI communication - the idea that AI should be treated as a partner, rather than a machine. I have created several frameworks to guide your prompting and form habits that align with AI's strengths, while minimizing it's weaknesses. I can't wait to get it all out here for you! Education is my passion and watching my students learn and grow brings me immense joy and fulfillment. I hope you enjoy everything that I create and become more successful and enlightened with every session! Thank you so much for being here at the beginning with me <3
